Great for photo editing and deals with everything that I ...
Having read a few negative reviews, I was slightly worried about my purchase but went ahead anyway. WOW! what a machine it is fast, light and attractive. The screen is superb. The keys are light to the touch . It doesn't get hot in use-well, warm, but not as hot as my last machine.Great for photo editing and deals with everything that I throw at it.I love the 'tablet' mode, great when doing 'stuff' while watching the telly.Altogether, a superb, ultra portable, fast, powerful, sleek machine.....Love it!!

Super portable laptop
I am over the moon with this laptop, and despite a few flaws I would rate it as highly as my apple mac laptop. Firstly it looks FANTASTIC in the flesh - a beautiful metallic brown colour with some gold accents. It really does stand out, and you can tell the quality from the keyboard and the way the screen pivots that this will last for a long time.In terms of highlights, the keyboard and screen are brilliant. The keyboard is very tactile and has just the right amount of give to the keys. The screen is bright and sharp, though a tiny bit too reflective. There is some serious hardware under the bonnet so multi-tasking seemed a breeze. The rapid start-up feature is very useful - taking just seconds to log in and start accessing email and the internet. Battery life was good though not great - I got about 5-6 hours watching movies over an internet streaming service. The battery fully recharged though in a couple of hours. Wifi was very strong and there are a good range of other connectivity options including HDMI, 3 USBs, and an SD card slot. The Bang and Olufsen speakers are very good for a laptop this small. You might read some reviews complaining about the noise of the fan. I must admit I did notice this pretty immediately, but it wasn't as intrusive as I expected. All in all, this is a full price to pay for a full spec laptop, but I am delighted with it, and would highly recommend.

Great laptop highly recommend it
Had this a few weeks now and cannot fault it. Quick easy to use, converts from laptop to flat panel very well. Very well made and stylish. Great laptop highly recommend.

Poor product and poor customer service!
Would discourage anyone from buying an HP spectre computer - this is a flawed product (defective wifi card) and they seem incapable of fixing it - had my computer taken away 3 times already for repair without fixing it, all within one year of buying it, and HP refuses to replace the computer with a new one or buy it back from me. Poor product, poor customer service and poor repair processes - thumbs down!

Buy
Fast, solid, reliable. Only negative points are dodgy "tablet mode" - a Win10 "feature" - and it's somewhat bling appearance.

Disloyal to customers
I bought my HP Spectre x360 13-4126na Energy Star in February 2017. My old laptop, a Dell XPS had fallen off a table and the screen got so damaged that it was not worth spending the money to fix it. That Dell XPS was 6 years old and had it not fallen from that chair it would still be working really well.A month ago ago on the eve of my first job, I noticed that my HP Spectre wasn't charging. There was nothing wrong with the cable as it worked with other laptops, but it was the laptop itself that was failing to charge. It slowly lost charge and it no longer turns on. I bought the product online at your website for £860 - I paid the premium because I expected it to last at least as long as my Dell XPS so I was extremely disappointed to have this problem only 2 years into owning the product.I went to PC World who said it would cost me £60 to send it off for diagnosis at HP. Their thought was that it may be a motherboard issue. It would take 7-10 days for a diagnosis and if it was a motherboard issue, a new motherboard would cost me approximately £400. I could buy a whole new laptop in that amount of money. When I purchased my laptop, I paid the premium because I did not want problems like this to arise.Tehnical support is only available between 8 am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is essentially impossible for me to call this number as I work these exact hours if not longer in a hospital. Despite this, I called customer support who acted as if they were doing me a huge favour by talking to me because my product was out of warranty and they had no obligation to talk to me. I also don't think your team understood the fact that the reason I paid a premium was so that I wouldn't have problems like this arising 2 years into owning the product. I might as well have spent half as much money for an inferior product that would last me equally as long but with half the cost. But instead I spent extra thinking it would last longer. None of your team empathised with this. None of them empathised with the fact that despite owning a premium product, that it had failed, and all they wanted to offer me was a paid repair that would cost me £360.Is this honestly fair? If it had been damaged or I had spilt food and water then I would gladly part with my money. But is it fair that I pay for what essentially is a product failure on your company's part? Is it fair that I pay another 360 on top of the 860 I have already spent for a laptop that should not have this issue? The manager was on holiday and I could not contact anyone else for a second opinion.I feel very betrayed by this product and your team and your solutions. I don't think it's fair that I pay this amount of money for something that is a product failure. This is honestly not what I wanted to be spending my first ever paycheck on. If you had any loyalty to customers like me who champion your brand and trusted it, you would understand the sadness and betrayal I felt when this was all your customer services team could offer me.
