One of the BEST Call of Duty’s I’ve played in years!
I’m a COD veteran that has played ever since 2007, I know about COD more than the average person and have played it competitively for a long time.In short, I know what makes Call of Duty good. This one genuinely shocked me, I was pretty much done with COD after being disappointed for years but I decided to give Treyarch a final chance. They completely nailed it.Multiplayer : The actual core gameplay WORKS, the shoot first die first is actually rare now, your bullets usually connect and the better player wins the gunfight, no more coin flip gunfights!Blackout : The best thing COD has done since league play. I’m shocked at how good this is, the connection is somewhat stable, there’s quite a lot of texture glitches which is expected at launch but it will only get better.Graphics are OK but just standard COD graphics, people don’t seem to realise that COD has always been about smooth gameplay over amazing graphics.Maps and guns are fine, I personally like that they brought back old maps because they’re all connected anyway in the Black Ops series.Zombies is actually fun again, it’s gotten stale over the years for me and they’ve revived the fun for me.I don’t miss the campaign because it looks like they used that time to really nail Multiplayer, Blackout and Zombies which will give you more than enough content for your money.DON’T listen to the people giving it 1 star, make no mistake this is a great COD which I’m surprised to say. These people clearly aren’t COD players.

Finally, a Call of Duty worth buying.
Over the last few years Call of Duty seemed to loose it's way, becoming less and less enjoyable while presenting nothing new, it became the iPhone of the gaming world - good quality but nothing really new with each release. The addition of Blackout has given the game the injection of goodness it needed. Battle Royale is nothing new but add it into a AAA game with the quality that brings and you have a great immersive game mode. The addition of the specialist training modes is very nice and they have shaken up the multiplayer modes to bring a little freshness. Zombies has never been my thing but for those that enjoy it, it's still here. I didnt even notice that there is no story mission. Playing from the moment it went live I can honestly say I've rarely had so few issue with any game on day 1. So, ignore the haters, watch some you tube videos of live game play and make your own mind up. First game for a while that I haven't felt was a waste of money. But that's just me.

Fun game with friends.
It's new and is similar to pretty much every other Cod. It's boots to ground which is nice. The specialists are similar to black ops 3 and there is some new ones. There is only two shotguns in the game which is crazy and it doesnt get 1 shot kills very often unless person is low health or its headshot. It is fun and the zombies is great. I don't really like blackout but that's because I prefer fortnite. It's good and needs a lot of practice. As probably everyone else has said, there's no story mode but I knew that anyway. It's a great game to play with friends. I like in multiplayer how it shows at the end of game / in between rounds the highlight of the best play. There is a good array of maps in my opinion but if you want more you will need to buy map packs/season pass which can be quite costly. At the moment the season pass costs more than the game itself. (I paid about £27 on Black Friday warehouse deal).I only wish they had much more guns as I do feel slightly limited.

Having a blast
Thus is my first CoD game (well I also have BO3 from PS Plus which I played for 5mins, but that doesn't matter). Bought it for the Battle Royale mode. Been "playing" battle royale from some time, and by playing mean trying to enjoy. Tried everything, but they either stress me or I just don't do it for me. However, for the first time I'm having a blast in a BR game. Is just fun to play all around, didn't get stressed when I play it solo and even 4-squads with strangers tend to be fun or at least alright. I think only 3-4 times I encountered bad team mates. However, recently I discovered the Heist mode which I really enjoy. I do find the UX/UI of the game not so intuitive. I don't have any clue how to use the class thingy, how to apply skins, change my avatar and that banner and so on. I guess I can google it but ain't quite bothered by it as I play it for fun. Keeps me quite busy right now as I don't have interest in any other game. Is not a 5* game, but I think it earns it as it did more than enough for what I got it for.
