I was looking for an inexpensive curling iron with a 3/4" barrel and decided to give this one a try. The 1" iron I have is a bit too large for my shorter hair. I couldn't find any 3/4" size in the stores near me, so I searched Amazon and found this one. I'm very happy with my purchase! It is lightweight which will be a plus for travel & even though it's a regular sized iron, it's not bulky & should pack in a carry-on easily. It heats up quickly & the ceramic coating lets my short hair glide through smoothly & curls it perfectly. A nice feature is the on/off switch on the handle is slightly recessed, so I'm not constantly hitting it & accidentally turning it off like I have done with other curling irons. The temperature control dial goes around the handle & clicks as you change settings, so it too doesn't inadvertently get changed. I guess my only critique of it is the cord is on the shorter side than I'm used to. It's not a deal-breaker, but a slightly longer cord would be better. Overall, it works as well to curl my hair as my expensive larger iron & I would definitely recommend this product.

Star, was removed because it is easy to turn off while using!!!I have used curling iron for years and this far is the best one I’ve ever used. I don’t think they can make it any better. It’s easy to hold. It’s easy to curl. It’s just right.! I hope it lasts a long time.

Heats up fast and great for short hair.

My curling iron i had prior was my grandma’s that she had since late 90’s! It did okay curling but they never stayed and i thought it was my hair but with this iron they stay!! I decided to get the 3/4 wand. I love tight curls and this can do both tight and loose curls. I also love the smaller looking curls versus the thicker bigger ones. For the price this thing is amazing!! Can’t beat $13 for a good quality iron when they can go up to $200 and do pretty much the same as this one. It heats up fast and the cord it long! It also has the spinning piece on the bottom with the cord so it’s easy to twirl your hair up. There’s two buttons, the power bottom and another one which i forget what it does. The heat settings starts real low and can go up high. This would be a perfect starter curling iron. As you can see in the pictures you can do different curl types. The picture in my mirror i just curled the two pieces in the front and a few in my pony tail cause my hair is naturally curly/wavy. The other pics and the video i curled the whole pony tail. I absolutely love this lil curling iron and it’s one of my best investments i made recently! I know you’ll love it as much as i do!!

Like the size, smooth barrel, and quick heat-up feature but the heating element burned out after seven months of daily use. Maybe a fluke but it's not the first time Conair products have been disappointing to me.

Great curling iron. I have the 1.5. I leave each section in the iron for 10 seconds and spray each section with hair spray after. I let it cool down and then brush it out. The iron is very heavy. I was able to do my whole head in 10 mins.

Bought the 3/4 inch iron and it gives my hair the tighter curl I was looking for. I have curly hair and need to "fill in" some of the frizzy parts. This iron works amazing. I have shoulder length hair and the rod length is perfect as well. I also like that is has a rounded end which makes curling easier. Not a fan of the ones that have an angled tip as they are difficult to use. Hair stays in place in the clip yet slides and wraps without issue. Heats up quickly. I set it at the highest heat setting. Have not used the turbo button as I get all day curls without it. This one is a great iron at a great price!!

Great curling iron at an excellent price. It is really difficult to find 3/4 inch curling irons at stores. I specifically wanted a ceramic curling iron to provide a bit of protection for my hair as I use a curling iron every day. This curling iron gets hotter than my old iron at max level. I lowered the heat setting and it still curls very quickly. So glad I found this curling iron. I highly recommend this curling iron.

Bought it for my mother. The first only lasted a year but she wanted the same one again. The second one is not on its 1.5 years so hopefully will last long
