Attractive and sturdy. I’ve used different paint pen colours to remind me of the principal colour of the plant, just for fun. In my small garden they add extra interest, and I’m viewing them as an alternative type of sculpture. Pricy, but blend very well with the reclaimed slate, brick and stone in my cottage style garden. I have problems with my hands, so need a gardener - hopefully this will also help to remind him where things are once the perennials disappear for the winter. I have found you need someone with strong hands and a set of pliers to open the very tough wire enough for the slate to pop in.

I love these labels, and used to use them for everything as they look smart, and last well. The labels don't fade in the sun. But this batch, the holes were so far from the edge that they didn't hook onto the slate very well. This was resolved with some strong person help, but for the price of these labels, its not what you'd expect. I'd still buy them again...probably!

After the initial problem that I could not attach the slates onto the metal hooks, the answer suggested was to open the hook up a little, and this worked a treat. I understand that some of the slates are thicker than others, which lead to the problem. The slates look very impressive in the newly designed garden. Thanks.

Love the product, gives my allotment a professional feel to it. Easy to assemble. Would be useful if they came with a fine tipped chalk pen or similiar writing implement.

Quick delivery on a Sunday from abroad. Well packaged. All arrived undamaged. These bits of slate on tall metal sticks are perfect for your summer garden when all plants are quite tall. I am very pleased with them and used a soapstone pencil to write the labels

Fantastic quality and visibly attractive. They have helped me immeasurably in my garden to remind me of the plant names and also to help me colour-coordinate the borders as I use the requisite coloured marker pen to show me the plant colour. Great for my planning for the next year when most plants are dormant.

Well packaged and arrived unbroken and swiftly. These nameplates are excellent, but it's a pity that they are imported bearing in mind the quantity of slate in the county.
