I got this because of racoons are digging in my backyard for grubs. And this is the quickest way to deter these animals. Flash and sound definitely stopped new damage to my yard. Its a stick into the dirt,forget it type of setup. I recommd this product.Note I don't have dogs. Might be annoying to dogs because of the high frequency sound.

True story about my experience. I ordered this because raccoons raiding my koi pond. I was happy with loudness and the bright lights flashing figured it had to work. I didn't notice any raccoon activity on first 2 nights of use, so I was happy. On 3rd night of use it was windy which caused this device to have false alerts due to swaying plants. At 330 am I got woke up by heavy knocking at my front door. I was startled to say the least but when I looked out there were 2 police officers standing at the door. They informed me that a wellness check had been called in by my neighbor who kept hearing what he thought was a burglar or fire alarm. I took them out back and showed them what it was, they both agreed it sounded like an alarm and suggested I turn it off until I could inform neighbors about what the noise is. So, I wanted to provide a heads up that this device probably works to scare animals but also scares neighbors as well. The siren sounds exactly like a car/fire/burglar alarm and there's no way to disable it without canceling the high-pitched tone as well. It might be ok if out in the country but not good if your neighbors are close by. I probably won't use this anymore due to neighbors being concerned. This company should rethink the sound of the siren to make it sound less like an emergency or at least provide a way to disable it while leaving the tone active.

Living in a wooded area, we have a constant influx of deer and other wildlife that love to treat our garden as their personal buffet. This animal repellent has made a noticeable difference for us. After using it, we've seen a decrease in the number of animals wandering into our yard. It's easy to use; just fully charge it first and leave it outside. Happy with the purchase!

This device really does the job! We set it up on our roof to deal with some noisy raccoons, and ever since, they’ve been staying away. The ultrasonic bursts are enough to make them uncomfortable without harming them, and the solar power option makes it super convenient. If you’re dealing with unwanted wildlife, this is a great solution!

Updated Review: After a few weeks of use, the product started to develop some issues, the sound alarm will not stop and it is very loud like police siren, causing the neighbors to complain, we have to turn off the sound completely. We have to return this item. Hope the company will add an alarm volume feature in the future.-------We have pigeons that frequent our terrace. This machine does its job well, between the intermittent flashing lights and the audible alarm. Although it's chargeable with a USB cable, the solar panel on top of the repellent gives it enough charge to continue working.

One of the units stopped working 10 days after the warranty expired. Avoid. Amazon does not carry them when I looked to write this review.Try another brand!

I got this because of cats keep coming to my backyard for bearing their kids. I really don't like they do it for their kid in outdoor environment. Flash and sound definitely stopped their coming to my yard. However the sounds is quite loud for me (I may have sensity hearing with sounds). If it would get improved , it would be best for my next instance.

We have a filled- in pond that the neighborhood cats were using as their potty. Since we set this up near the pond, they no longer visit our yard.The noise it makes upon motion detection is very irritating, so I have turned it off until I notice any return visitors.The unit is very sensitive to motion.
