Row, Row, Row Your Boat

A neighbour bought 2 of these for my great grandsons first birthday. He absolutely loved them from the start He is 16 months now and loves this one too. His face lights up especially when Tony is making us smile, he loves Tony and so do I.He knows all the songs and when I sing them and miss out a word he always say's the word that I've missed out.Whenever he comes to my house he say's wheels wheels and makes for the stairs. He means 'The wheels on the bus' which is one of the first of Tony and the children's dvds so we sit on my bed and watch them together. He enjoy's them all equally.Better than watching animated cartoon singing. in my opinion.

I live in Holland and my Dutch kid is learning English songs from this collection of DVDs. These are all from my childhood, but in my opinion, the first, `The wheels on the bus`was finer, but maybe that was a chunk of nostagia. As the series progressed, the visual effects got more hi tech, but for my kid this was lost on him. He was proper satisfied with the footage of the kids singing, and that hasnt changed in 2 years. The gentleman around which these dvds revolve is very talented as a childrens entertainer, even if he does break the rules now and again and makes the mums and dads laugh

I bought this for my 14-month old granddaughter and in retrospect she was too young as it was her least favourite. Now, at 19 months she will select it herself from her library of DVDs(!) and enjoys watching it. Although cartoon characters work well on other DVDs, this is the only one she has with children and she seems to enjoy watching them. They sing well, the words are clearly understood and the actions are easy to mimic. I think the young man connects well with the children and his audience and looks as though he is enjoying himself. With a running time of around 45 minutes, it is just long enough.

Bought this for my son as he had the "twinkle twinkle little star" dvd from the same series, and he absolutely loves this too. Tony is a great character to lead the songs (even i find him amusing) and its great with all the little kids singing and dancing. The quality is good and not over produced which my son who is only 14 months old seems to prefer and he now knows the songs and is trying to dance along with the kids.I would defiantly recommend this for little ones.

Received item before due date...The DVD ok and Granddaughter loves listening to it over and over again...would recommend...

We've had this DVD along with the wheels on the bus and twinkle twinkle one since my little one was two months old. Initially I didn't really want her watching DVDs at all and I still really restrict it. These are great though. I love them because they depict real children singing the rhymes that she comes across in the baby groups we attend so they are familiar and reinforce her learning. I can't Imagine we will stop using them for a few years. I am setting up a childminding business and will be using them for singalong and to follow the dances and actions in my setting. Really good.

My baby loves this DVD and she is 12 months old. The DVD has about 10 children singing nursery rhymes. It has very poor acting by the children and the children are just wearing basic coloured t-shirts so it obviously done on a tight budget. However, my baby loves watching the children sing and the singing is very good!
