The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never * the internal combustion engine, the Razor A3 will get your child from point a to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor A3 is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock-absorbing system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that * an extra dollop of fun. Add in such details as 125 mm urethane wheels, ABEC-5 high-speed bearings, a patented rear fender brake, and a patented folding mechanism and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. This version of the Razor A3, which supports up to 143 pounds and is recommended for ages 5 and older.

Great Scooter for 10 year old Girl
I bought this product for my 10 year old daughter who wanted a fast, cool way to get to and from school, and didn't want a girly scooter. I found it challenging to determine what model/size of scooter would be best for her, since she is taller than average but very slight. This is an A3, and we already have the handlebar fully extended; just hoping she won't outgrow it too quickly. Razor is a solid brand, and she's very happy, but would have been even happier with a scooter in an awesome shade of light blue!

Happy with it so far
Good quality, sturdy scooter. My kid (11) rides it to and from school and hasn't complained about anything so that's a good sign. It's quiet and smooth.

Very sturdy.
Great and well-built. Just a little tough to fold up at first but gets better with use.

Best way to get to class
I first purchased this scooter two years ago, right before Christmas of my freshman year of college. A junior now, I recently purchased another scooter after losing my first scooter on campus. If I hadn't lost the scooter, I would've still been using the same scooter for over two years, and even with all the stress I put on it (I'm not the most careful with my things), it was still working just fine, which speaks to the durability of this product. I will say that this is hands down the best purchase I have made in college. The amount of time that this thing has saved me is tremendous. If I'm running late for class or a meeting, I grab this thing and I'm there in a few minutes. Not only is it a huge timesaver, but it's so much fun too. Sometimes I take this to class even when I'm not running late just so I can experience the thrill of going downhill from my classrooms. I don't have very good balance, so this scooter is perfect for me, as it has a break on the back which makes me feel much safer. I wanted to learn to use a skateboard but my balance just wasn't letting me do it. A lot of the college athletes on my campus use the larger A5, but I think the A3 is the perfect size for me (I'm 5' 5 and 123 pounds). If you're worried about this not being able to hold your weight, it can definitely hold much heavier than it says it can. I've had friends from the football team who are 200 pounds on this without a problem. I'd say if you're above 5' 8 to go for a larger A5, but if you're anywhere below that, the A3 will be perfect. I highly recommend this scooter to every college kid looking to save time or just have fun while zooming to class. There may be some haters but who cares??? They're just jealous.

2 minor dilemmas for me
So i had one of these when I was a kid (about 17 years ago and i bought one to use today. The first thing i dont like is the little spoiler in the back around the wheel. I think its useless and makes it harder to step on the brake. I tried removing it but then the wheel in the back would get stuck and slow me down because it would rub against the sides. The second this is that it doesnt fold open and close as easily as it should. You have to fidget with it a few time for it to open. Other than that it does what it ahould.

All you ever need!!
The scooter arrived on time and was more then I expected! It is a bigger and better then I thought especially for the price!!! I couldn't imagine why anyone would need anything more. I highly recommend it my son is 7 and I don't see him out growing it. It's plenty big for adults or adjust down for smaller children.

fast and sleek
This is a fast scooter and it is what it is, needs to be kept in balance or a nasty fall will occur. Can lend its self to injuries due to its nature. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but I don't think this is for beginners....

Poor quality. Within a few uses
Poor quality. Within a few uses, the folding function stopped working. This makes the item very bulky to carry around. Also, the wheels squeak constantly. I wish there was a way to return this item for a refund. I will not buy this brand again.

Better than A2 for older kid!
Good size for a 12 yr old. The larger wheels are a plus! This one feels sturdier than the A2!

Great Scooter!
My kids each had Huffy versions which broke within days of each other. These have been great for the past couple months they've had them. They definitely feel like they're constructed better, and seem much more durable.

My 10 yr old son loves it
I bought this for my son for his 10th birthday. His neighborhood friends have it and he rode theirs a lot. He was very excited when he opened this on his bday. He rides it every day and loves it. The bigger wheels are great.
