Nice metal, rollers dont stick and very roomy inside. I love it bc it doesnt say "bread" across the front! Everything in my house has a home so this works perfect for daily sandwich bread. For the fancy patries when we have brunch, I'll pull out the dome cake pedastal.

We needed a place to hide all of our bread and snacks. This unit is sizey and looks modern. Looks good. It is light weight , but for us it was more about the aesthetic. We are happy.

We wanted a black bread box to match the rest of our appliances (and to get rid of the wooden one we've had for years)... I know... but this one fits the bill, works as well as our old one, and at least looks better than I thought it would... just wish it were a bit bigger. I should give it 3-stars for faulty/missing door-stops, but it does match the description, function, and does what it should... so 4-stars to deduct for poor door-stop design.

I hate to be too harsh since I didn't actually get to use the thing. So I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.I read the reviews, and I'm generally pretty lucky when it comes to things like this. Others have problems, I generally don't. So I tried it. They are right, the box is pretty thin and flimsy. Which wouldn't be a huge issue in itself, but it can't stand up to much... including shipping. I got my first box, and the door was literally not even connected. The hinges were broken. During shipping, it rocked all around inside bending and scratching it. So I asked for a replacement. I got the replacement the very next day. The door was connected, but the bottom was all bent up.The bread box was inside its own packaging. Then put inside a regular cardboard box with some of those air packet things to keep it from sliding around and such. The problem is, the box is so fragile, that while it may have been protected from dings, pressure from the outside would still bend up a large portion of the bread box causing permanent damage.I returned both obviously, and then submitted a ticket to Amazon to say that they may need to look at their shipping method for this. There is currently a message on the page saying they have halted the sale of this item while they investigate... so its possible the way they ship this will change. I just hope they can find a way to do it without spending a whole bunch of extra money on packaging.The item itself, while thin and fragile, seemed ok. It was decent to look at. There were about 10 total small holes on the back that allowed some air in. The one that I got with its door still attached seemed to open and close pretty smoothly. But its by no means your grandmas solid bread box. Its thin and cheap. I can't comment on if it actually does its job.

I had been looking for a more traditional bread box, but could not find one that matched my kitchen décor. This one fit the bill.It is not a huge bread box, but can easily hold two full sized loaves of bread with some room to spare. I have a loaf of bread, a package of pita bread, and a bag of about a dozen muffins and nothing gets squished. It does not take up a lot of counter space, which is wonderful for if you have a limited area with which to work.I did have to return the first one I received. The packaging is not terribly sturdy and it appeared that 'something' had dented the front-side door frame (they were slightly bent/dented). The second one was perfect.

The metal on this bread box is a bit thin like other reviews say, but it is working well for me and holding up nicely after a few months of use. The lid lifts smoothly. It's roomy enough inside for a loaf of bread plus other storage so it's a nice place to tuck things out of sight. I bought the black version and don't have any trouble with fingerprints showing when opening it using the handle. It does show smudges when my kids grab the front cover to lift it, but they clean off easily.

pretty sturdy and easy to clean. it does gather dust sorta easily but that comes with choosing the black color. was kinda worried about dents and damage as mentioned in other reviews but mine arrived in perfect condition! either way, amazon would just replace it with a non damaged one

I love this bread box! However I didn't buy it for bread! My husband and I take vitamins and meds in the morning and like to have them on hand. We had had them sitting on the counter for a long time and I just didn't like having it all where it could me seen on my kitchen counters! So when I measured this and realized that all I had would fit nicely in this I was so happy! Now the counter looks nice and neat and all the bottles are hidden in the bread box! I love it!

No es hermetica, por lo que aunque este cerrada, el pan se endurece rápido. Se conserva mejor en una bolsa de plástico, lo cual es una lástima por que justo quería dejar de usarlas para mi pan.

Muy buen producto, justo el color que buscábamos. El tamaño es excelente, pensábamos que sería pequeño pero le cabe de todo. Muy recomendable
