Works great! not to sandy. definitely can tell my plants are doing better already. mixed with a new succulent soil mix, I wasn’t sure if I would have enough because the bag looks small, but I had more than enough. I replanted 3 plants which used a 8 quart bag of soil, and it was just the right amount. I just ordered another bag to have for next time. This is my new go to for my succulents. Suitable for succulents and cactus. Rocks are consistently the same size. Nice color too.

Exactly what I was looking for. I’d make sure you rinse out the rock before using it for substrate, it does get quite dusty in transit. But so far it seems to be working well for my plants. I use it for drainage as well as some light moisture retention due to the porous nature of the lava rock. Will buy again.

I have purchased this gravel several times. I mix it in with cactus/succulent soil to give the soil better drainage. It can also be used in the bottom of a planter with no drainage hole to prevent root rot, or as a decorative topper.

This is the 2nd time buying these pebbles to re-plant my plant to a bigger home. I love the way they look as well as keeping the gnats away. My Haworthia plant has grown so much in the last 9 months, he needed a bigger home. The size of the pebbles is great as they are small enough to put all around the plant & not be the main focus. I mainly got them for the drainage & ventilation properties. It's a little bit dusty inside of the bag but nothing that's a big issue to me.

Pretty good for potted pkants

This is what I use as pon for my Alocasias. It's great! Its the perfect size. It's easy to rinse, easy to use in my pots, and my plants seem to love it! It's a great value and much cheaper than name brand option, but just as good! My plants are thriving and growing well since changing over to this mix. This is great stuff!

It’s rocks. They’re pretty much all the same size. They darken nicely when wet. I know that because I washed them - I noticed they were very dirty. I’m using them in a concrete ashtray as a holder for my ball vape. It has been working well for about a month. If they’re good for firepits, they’re fine for my use, I say!
