A million times improvement from the standard cane! I bought this for a woman who is quite unstable with walking and also has strength issues, overall. She has been complaining a little bit about it being heavy, but that's just because it's quite different than the other cane. It is really not heavy and it's not difficult to manipulate. I have a small compact car and when she sits in the passenger seat she can easily maneuver it right next to her. It also doesn't come crashing down all the time like the old standard cane did. The old cane fell over a lot and I was concerned about her bending over to pick it up all the time. No risk of that with this super stable cane that stands on its own. She hasn't gotten a hang of using the additional handle, which is designed to help a seated person rise to standing position. We're still working on that. I tried it and it seems to work quite well and be extremely stable for that purpose. At first, I was thinking that it would be a learning process to make sure that all four feet were grounded when going up and down stairs. I had the idea in my mind that if one foot of the cane was off the edge of the stair it would be dangerous. So far, that hasn't even seemed to be an issue. It's quite easy just to line it up properly. In fact after a few times up the stairs I forgot to even worry about that. So glad also that it was available in great colors. The bright purple cheers her up 💜

Excellent. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Exactly what was needed after a very difficult surgery that left me non weight bearing for 7-8 weeks. This quad cane really helped was I was starting to walk again. Would highly recommend.

It is pretty stable, and provides two handle options. The coating on the top handle comes off when you apply pressure or if you are sweating, turning your hand black. Just be aware of that.

This quad cane is a winner!!! I have tried many other canes including different kinds of canes and everyone I tried felt like there was no support there at all in fact they all felt wobbly which is exactly what we're not looking for!!! This one is stable sturdy supportive and makes you feel safe!!! I do not weigh anywhere near 300 lb but it supposedly works up to that weight So I figured it's going to be really good for me and it is! It was extremely easy to put together it is very lightweight which is surprising being so strong and stable as it is they handle has great cushioning there are many options for height of the cane and this quad is way more stable than another quad I tried I just gave the other one away to somebody and told them I didn't think it was very sturdy but they took it it comes within instruction manual and a 3 year warranty which is pretty good for this price range there's a toll free number to call if you need help there are even videos on YouTube showing exactly how to put it together and showing exactly how to properly use a cane

Made well. Like that it has the extra handle. Heavyduty. And it stands upright

I am an older lady that needs a cane and I'm proud that I put this together myself in about 5 minutes. It has what I wanted - A solid base that would quit falling down so often. That's all I needed was to have a fall picking up my cane. This one is great - it is heavy though if you are small and frail. I am not

I bought this for my grandpa, and he absolutely loves it. The quad base provides excellent stability so he feels completely secure while walking, but the real standout feature is the additional lower handle. It gives him the perfect leverage point to push himself up and out of bed or a low chair safely on his own. It’s well-built, sturdy, and has given him a huge boost of confidence. Highly recommend!

After a knee replacement I needed a really stable cane, especially for getting up from a seated position, and the extra, lower, handle is great for getting that leverage. The only complaint I have is that the base makes it too heavy for arthritic hands to swing it forward with every step, so I ended up leaving it by the couch and using a regular cane for moving around. As a guage, the trip from the parking lot to the back of of the drug store (where they always place the pharmacy counter) and back out to the parking lot (150 yards, maybe?) makes my hand start to ache.
