Excellent Cooler
Built up an Ivy Bridge System using 3770k, the Asus P8Z77-v Pro with 8GB Corsair Vengeance (Not low profile) RAM. Because this cooler is Low profile, rather than having low profile RAM, it can pretty much fit with any setup (Obviously fitting the socket). Having a cooler like this in a Cooler-master HAF 922, you'll never need to worry about room. Also, this does not require its own Molex plug, it is 4 Pin too which means its power consumption is very little.Cooling the 3770k, its not bad at all. I get 35-40c Idle, goes up to 50c under decent load. Ivy Bridge's run extremely hot due to new transistors and the fact that they have Intel HD 4000 graphics built in now, which can be utilized with LucidMVP if your Motherboard supports it. Another reason why the chips run hotter, is because they have got "rubbish" thermal paste under the processor plate. All in all, an excellent cooler for low profile, you cannot go wrong for the price too. I am not overclocking my IB which means this cooler is fine for me until in a few years when I decide to change my mind. But if you are going to overclock, this might run a tad but hot for you, you'd need to go for a "Block" type cooler, such as a Cooler-master cooler.

Nice and compact but limited fan life
Got one of these for a small home server - cool running mostly but on 24/7. The fan was run at slow speeds except when the CPU was very busy (quite rare). The fan did not last more than a few months and rather than replace it with another of the same under warranty I decided to source a better fan elsewhere. (Taking the server down to replace again would be a hassle that I could do without, so a better fan made more sense.)
