Strong and well made.
I needed strength and length for this project. I also needed the bracket to come out a specific amount from the wall so that the blinds behind the valance don't scrape. This solved that problem. I got two, and honestly, these things are so long, I could have made one bar across the whole living room. However, they don't bow in the middle. They are strong and stable and exactly what we needed. I am thrilled.

Simple to hang, simple to use
I got this curtain rod because my old one was a wrap around type, which required using a screw driver to remove the curtains for cleaning. The open bracket on these make cleaning the curtains so much easier. The only issue I had with installing them was with the screws. They seemed a bit short and didn't anchor to the wall like they should. I ended up using some drywall screws which worked well.

It is sturdy
This didn't end up being quite what I expected though that is entirely my fault as the product listing is pretty clear. If you're like me then sometimes you have a need for something in a hurry and once you skim the basics of the listing and determine that the functionality matches your need for a price you find reasonable you just order it. That's what I did in this case.I needed a sturdy curtain rod to span a 6' sliding glass door with no middle support bracket. These claimed to fit that need and the listing price is fair for what it's advertising. When I unpacked it I was surprised to find that it's in multiple segments that screw together. The segments aren't particularly heavy, and the gauge isn't particularly thick, but they did use a very stiff metal alloy which probably would crack before bending. I was a little concerned as to how well it would support weight over a big span. The sections have one female threaded part and one male threaded part, outside of the end pieces of which there are one of each type and the other end is an adjustable piece with a rubber bumper. I ordered the smallest rod available and I ended up with four spare pieces, which I'll keep stashed away somewhere just in case I do run into sagging, bending or cracking problems with any of the assembled parts down the road. I'm glad I didn't order the longest rod initially as I was considering since I assumed this would be a rod-inside-a-rod configuration that most curtain rods use. I'd have a lot of spare pieces to store. The rod does come with three mounting brackets. The brackets are very sturdy. I'm quite sure something bad would happen to the bar itself before one of the brackets.I installed the rod across the 6' span with what I would say is a medium weight curtain and it is just fine. I am no longer worried about it being able to support the weight for such an install. I think the product listing's claim of being able to support 35lbs is pretty spot on the nose, and that would be for an extended period of time. I could probably support 50lbs for a short period of time. It can probably survive your rowdy cat climbing the curtains regularly--good luck with the curtains though.Despite being screwed together the transition from one piece to the other is almost seamless. The curtain I chose has metal rings and they slide smoothly over the section joints in both directions. You also cannot see the section joints unless you're pretty close to it. From a distance it looks like a normal rod.The only complaint I might have is if I were a snooty person who was also cheap. This doesn't look as high-end as some curtain rods you could get, though in my opinion it looks fine from more than 5' away. I think it's just fine for what it costs. It also matches the curtain I chose, which similarly isn't fancy looking but is pretty great for what it cost.

Not a fan.
It can be hard to find very long rods, so I was excited to find this one. I did not even need anything longer than the shortest option. However, I am not a huge fan of how this goes together. It has many small rods that screw into each other, and in my opinion, these end up not being strong connections, can interfere with opening and closing curtains, and I would not necessarily label them as heavy duty. I am sure they have their place - they would be perfect in a room where you want to put sheers in front of a slider or large set of windows, where they would just stay in place and not have the added wear and tear of opening. A fair price point for what you get, and can be useful in certain circumstances, but just not what I prefer in a rod.

It's what I needed
I ordered this for a set of 3 long windows in the lower level of my home.I ordered the longest length which (barely) spans two of the three windows. I'll need another shorter one to span the whole length. Nonetheless I'm very pleased with this curtain rod. It's easy to install, and it's easy to hang curtains on it. It is plenty sturdy for the use I'm putting it to.

Decent basic long curtain rod
I got this rod for a long set of windows, and it does the job. It looks really basic, but I knew that going in. I was more interested in the 'heavy duty' part of the description, and it does hold up normal-weight curtains very well. There's an additional support in the middle that keeps it from sagging, so know that if you use this, you won't be able to pull all the drapes to one side, if that's your jam.I was hoping that the brackets would be a little heftier and sturdier, but so far they've done the job. The rod itself is unobtrusive, you look right past it.

Reasonable price for the extra long size
I needed a new curtain rod for my 8-foot wide window. This rod is adjustable, so I could choose the width that I needed. The rod is easy to assemble and install with the necessary hardware included. The price is reasonable for this larger size rod.

Perfect Long Rod
This curtain rod is incredibly practical, especially for larger spaces like patios or wide windows. It comes in sections, so you can adjust it to the exact length you need, making it perfect for long spans without needing middle supports. I used it to cover a 6-foot sliding door, and it's holding up well with medium-weight curtains. The metal is sturdy, and despite my initial doubts about the segmented design, it’s strong and looks seamless from a distance. The fact that it comes with extra pieces in case of future issues is a nice bonus. The rod itself has a decent, straightforward look. It’s more utilitarian than decorative, but it blends nicely with most decor. The non-slip rubber bumpers at the ends are a thoughtful touch, and the brackets are solid. Assembly is simple, though I recommend reading the instructions carefully to avoid any issues. Overall, it’s a good value for the price.
