Q: Can staples be used in the brad nail gun?

No. Use 18GA brad nails. It’s compatible with brad nails lengths ranging from 5/8" to 2". Using incorrect fasteners will cause the nail gun to jam.

Q: What's the main difference between a pneumatic staple gun and a cordless staple gun?

Pneumatic staple guns use compressed air, which means you'll need to also use an air compressor and hose. This narrow crown stapler is battery-powered and doesn't require compressors, gas cartridges, or hoses.

Q: How do I clear a jam?

To use the tool-free jam release, simply raise and unhook the release lever to clear the jam. Although occasional jams can happen with any staple gun, you can prevent them by using the correct staples and loading the magazine properly.

Q: Why might the nail gun fail to fire nails?

1. When using the nail gun for the first time or after storage, grease on the firing pin may solidify. To fix, remove the nail, open the magazine, and fire into wood about 10 times.

Q: What is a non-marring pad?

A non-marring pad is attached to the tip of the stapler to help protect surfaces from marring or dents. An extra pad is located on the back side of the magazine.
