Looks very nice when assembled and should last many years
Yes, you can get more substantial quality but you would expect to pay a lot more. The arch is a decent size and looks very pretty with our rose growing up it. Feel sure it will last at least 20 years compared to other arches we have had to replace so pleased with purchase

Elegance and style in an arch
I had previously purchased one of these arches. It looks beautiful in the garden a few feet from my house so I decided to buy another one with a six inch gap between to give a tunnel effect. I bought two more roses of the same varieties (climbing Handel and Penny Lane) as before and next year they should reach 10 feet high. The effect has been excellent. The arches are study and you can tell at a glance the arches are of sturdy, stylish construction. Would recommend this article.

Good for the price, very poor assembly instructions
I bought this on behalf of my Mum who wanted a nice arch to train a climbing rose gift over. The arch was straightforward to assemble tho the instructions are rubbish, no written text just badly drawn diagrams, even so it was pretty common sense. All the parts were present exactly which shows they must have taken on board previous criticisms, well done! I assembled it on my own no problem, Tip assemble it where it's to be erected. The finish is good, tho I understand that the bolts tend to rust, I have a can of wd40 at the ready. Also nowhere on the sales site does it say it's made from powder coated square section tubular steel 15mm square, you would think this would be important to most buyers! The height could be another 200mm or 8ins as my head almost hits the top.On the plus side it's quite strong and the arrowhead decals match an existing gate so it was perfect in its setting. I would have preferred solid steel but then I expect the price would be double.

My third TC Arch.
I love arches, this is my 3rd and largest Tom Chambers. They are so robut and inexpensive that I automatically looked for the brand, then the style I needed. Took a little longer to put it together but I met no problems and lost none of the screws or nuts - there are quite a few.

Rubbish!
50 odd bolts together, some only 4 mm different. No assembly instructions to speak of and no end caps for hollow uprights so, without silicone sealer, the whole thing would fill with water. The upper joints - which are not load-bearing - are sensible tube-fits-in-to-tube. However, the middle joints - which are load-bearing because widths don't match are end-to-end joints with supporting side plates and 8 nuts and bolts. Unsurprisingly, these weak joint bend and the whole thing is wonky. It's just too much trouble to dismantle and send back - or I would. And to add insult to injury, after only a week, it's starting to go rusty! I have had to buy Hammerite spray to cover the rust.

Attractive and sturdy but check contents and fixings
Attractive and sturdy. Washers missing but v quick courier delivery sorted that issue. Two fixing holes did not align but electric drill sorted that out. Easy assembly
