Great little unit
Working well for me...The price is right.My only detractor is the hydraulic cylinderdeads-out/ on the downward motion andtakes a few inches to reengage on the upward motion.Other than that, it's a great little piece of gear.I'm a big guy and I can still get a full bend anddrive-through extension on my legs.

Excellent, precision machine, no assembly needed.
When I got this I opened the wrong end of the box (it's a guess) so I pulled out the machine, spent a minute looking at it, and set it up. No screws, no lubing, nothing, just unfold it and put in a couple fasteners. Tightened up the tension and rowed some strokes.Then I checked the other end and found the instructions, which weren't needed.It's excellent! The slide runs on the main bar on rollers, probably nylon, and it's completely smooth and no friction.I used to be involved in competitive crew (ask me how the Charles River tastes) and while I can't quite replicate the oar movement with this because the hand grip is straight back and forth, I can get pretty close to a rowing stroke. And that's a lot of fun.The product description says the recommend max. weight is 20 pounds. I have no idea what that means. I am 200 pounds and used it without difficulty, and there was no creaking, no flexing.I cannot believe the price on this unit. Easy 5 stars.
