Roberts Revival REST Digital DAB Radio with Bluetooth, Black

Roberts have a winner here! It's rather similar in build theme to their popular Petite radio but larger - solid, sturdier, still compact, and feels top quality. It looks great in the style of their iconic Revival radios. The large screen makes it super easy to see the time (no glasses needed!). The screen has an auto dim so when the lights go out, the screen dims down - but there's also a simple dimmer button to override. Plenty alarm options. The radio (DAB+, FM plus Bluetooth) is very easy to use (screen shows your choice of readout below the time) - tuned in the moment I plugged it in - tons of stations, very simple to add favourite presets via heart button. Above all it was the remarkable audio quality and clarity that was the real surprise! There's an equaliser function to choose different preferred sound presets - or set your own treble / bass in "MyEQ" - a real bonus. This is the best all-round bedside clock radio I've seen - it's not portable, you plug it in, it's solid. The sound quality, tone, volume and richness easily fill the room - the up-firing tweeter / main speaker in the rear design works brilliantly. I know Roberts radios well, have several, one I still use being 30+ years old. And this is one of their best products, best sounding radios, in years. I really only chose it as it looked like a smart, easily readable clock screen, with radio attached. But it's far more - a very complete package. Not least in its finish in leather cloth - I chose black - with gold accents. Classy! Love it!

Wanted a compact DAB radio alarm clock for next to the bed with super quality sound, adjustable dimmer light clock face, small in size, ability to charge phone and black in colour. This radio has it all ticking all the boxes plus it has WiFi. It’s a winner. It’s probably the most we have ever paid out but, has been worth every penny because of its quality radio tone. This is a Super good quality DAB radio alarm clock from a quality long established manufacturer (Robert’s) known for having a lovely soothing tone to the sound - no crackle what so ever. Easy to set up stations, alarm and manually adjust clock brightness if auto isn’t what you want. It’s a Winner!

A cracking little bedside radio alarm from Roberts. The build quality is fantastic and it looks & feels very premium indeed. The sound is top-notch & belies its dinky size. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the Auto brightness setting is a bit flaky. For some reason, it frequently decides that a pitch dark bedroom is actually in strong daylight & cranks the brightness up to maximum. It woke me by suddenly shining like the sun in my face at 3am this morning,which was not appreciated! I've now selected the dimmest setting manually rather than allowing it to decide by itself!

I've just received my Roberts Revival Rest in Duck Egg Blue. First impressions are that it's a beautiful looking item, feels really good quality and sounds fantastic. It takes about 2mins to set up as it's super easy. It has two alarms and the alarms are really easy to set up. The Radio can be either DAB or FM. You can also connect to it using Bluetooth and use It as speaker, again, the sound is fantastic. It also has a USB charging port which I wasn't expecting but really pleased about. I know it's not cheap but I'm glad I decided to stop suffering cheaper radio alarm clocks and take the plunge - I'm very impressed with it.

In the small world of bedside, mains, clock radios this is a top ranking bit of kit. Very large numerals which adapt in brightness to the prevailing light. Radio sounds excellent and is easy to tune and turn on and off. It does a number of things that I will never use - alarm, sleep timer etc- that you'll have to read other's reviews. Pricey but great quality.

Looks like a great radio with the usual fantastic Roberts Radio quality. Unfortunately I was sent an item that must have been returned. The radio and power supply were covered in dust, the bag the radio was in inside the box was ripped and the power supply and it's cable had been hastily stuffed back into the box tied up with a tie that wasn't original. I thought I paid for brand new kit! - this radio isn't cheap! Returned immiediately because if this is the care that is taken when fulfilling orders then I didn't have much hope if I had a problem with it.

Somethings are worth paying a little extra for. Sound is great! Found it very easy to setup and has intuitive controls. I Like the fact it has the auto dim function and really large clock display. Very solid build and cool retro styling. Fully recommend 👍

For bedside, large time display in which the brightness can be varied - I set on 'Auto' so it reacts to ambient light. Tunes in stations fine such as LBC. Easy to operate EXCEPT I found preset-tuning awkward with bleary eyes. Sound very good. Switch on radio by just pressing left knob. Highly recommended.

je suis très content mais le seul défaut, il faudrait qu'amazone veille pour les livraisons pour la france du matériel anglais, mette un cordon FRANCAIS UN CORDON AVEC LA PRISE française ainsi qu'une notice en français, comme lorsque on commande chez darty ou boulanger, sinon c'est très bien
