The performance is where it really shines. I’ve tested it on everything from thin cardstock to thick, double-walled shipping boxes, and it cuts through both with absolute ease. It glides through heavy cardboard like a hot knife through butter, which is a massive relief for my hands and wrists compared to using a traditional utility knife. Very impressive small cordless electric (USB-C to charge it) appliance! My three adult children are Amazon Customers and order a lot so they have a lot of boxes!! When I saw this product I knew this was a perfect gift for my kids who have everything! When we opened one up to try it, surprisingly it already had a full charge which will last for 40 minutes. It has a HD display, which shows you the remaining of the battery and speed settings. Also has a LED light which comes on automatically when you start the machine, which is very helpful! The Handle has two buttons to push at the same time to start the blade, for safety reasons, but is easy to do. This unit also has 2 Xtra blades with a one step install that is safe & easy…also has a bag to store it in. We decided to try one of the electric scissors before we wrapped the Xmas gift. I got a box and zipped right thru that box! I then doubled the pieces and it again cut right thru efficiently. It worked best to have the cardboard laying on a solid surface & it cuts with perfect precision. I had some boxes ready for my kids , and they played around with it and were really happy with the gift. My adult children were thrilled with these Electric Scissors! Don’t worry you won’t be disappointed in this product!

Works even better and safer than a traditional box cutter. It arrived at 95% charge (with a charge-status display), and I put it to work instantly. It cuts heavy-duty cardboard at a decent pace. It is fairly quiet, but loud enough so you know it is on. It is easy to hold, easy to use, and easy to replace the blade when needed (it came with an extra blade).

This is a great little item suitable for breaking down corrugated boxes like those that Amazon uses. But I regret not getting the more powerful one for a few extra dollars.

The Fanttik C8 Nano works reasonably well when cutting straight sections of cardboard boxes. It makes breaking down boxes faster and easier than using a utility knife, and the cordless design is convenient. I’m also satisfied with the battery life, as a single charge has lasted through multiple box-cutting sessions without any issues. My biggest issue is with cutting around the corners of boxes. The scissors tend to struggle in those areas, and I believe the safety guard gets in the way and limits how easily the blade can reach tight corners. As a result, I often have to reposition the tool or finish the cut manually. Considering the premium price point, I expected better overall performance. For straight cuts, it gets the job done, but the difficulty with box corners keeps it from feeling like a truly polished product. It’s not a bad tool, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially given the cost.
