Works. Who would have thought of a digital dial... that's rechargeable.

First let me give you a disclaimer that I automatically applaud sellers and manufacturers when they do something different. When it comes to a lot of the same type of stuff being available from other countries, usually from the same country, and they all seem to use the same materials, even the same listing photos, it gets really old. When I see a company that doesn't do that, I automatically applaud them so just keep that in mind that I may be a little bit biased but I don't think so For starters this has a unique interface that alone I like. It's got instructions that are carefully thought out and well made and they're full page. I'm talking full page illustrations and clear and concise instructions... a full letter page. That's amazing in this day and age. That's like unthinkable. It's like living in a fantasy land or something. In fact these instructions are so clear and concise that it actually explained two functions that I've always wondered about from my other calipers I've had in the past. This actually explained instructions in a way that actually not only told me how to use it but also what the entire function is designed for. I'm not gonna bother you with what I'm talking about, besides it somewhat embarrassing on my part, but that's how clear and concise these instructions are The only reason I am taking away a star (and believe me I really don't want to) is that the rechargeable screen is very heavy. It makes the calipers feel very heavy even though they're not heavy in the grand scheme of things. It's just a heavy instrument and it's very front-heavy or top-heavy or however you want to call it. That's only worth maybe a half a star. The other half a star I'm taking away is because of the little roller that you use to roll the distance up and down or back and forth or shorter or farther apart. It's very loose. Now there's no worry about it coming off but it feels so loose that it makes me kind of wish that I could fix it. I have a real janky terrible pair of calipers that are just as ghetto as can be but that little roller is super smooth compared to this one. The good thing about this though is more of a feature than a flaw: the dial spins freely until you push down on it and then it grips and that's how you give or take away distance. You can check my video to understand what I'm saying another thing is these calipers don't come on automatically when you open or close them. You have to turn the display on first but again that's also a feature. It's not going to run down your battery. I got used to my other ones that were so janky and ghetto that would never save battery at all. It would sit in my drawer and die even if not used. Over the course of a month it would probably die and it wasn't rechargeable. It had the same stupid screen that all the other knockoff versions have from the same country, in the same manufacturer, or at least the same warehouses, probably just with a different name stamped on it. I can tell that I'm using a quality piece of a quality instrument now. It definitely feels like it's a quality tool and I like that so it was difficult for me to even take one star away. Considering those two issues I feel are worthy of about a half a star each, I think four stars is pretty fair. Although I'm gonna strongly recommend this as if it's a five-star product, I just wanted to make sure I was being fair. Oh yeah and you can see in my video that the calipers are very sensitive, very accurate, and pretty cool looking. It feels like a race car
