I was skeptical at first with these water meters given the price and the fact that they’re made in China. but so far one has counted almost 10,000 gallons without skipping a beat. They seem to be very accurate, I am using them on a well pump system to monitor when the filters need to be changed and approximately how many gallons of water the pump will be pumping before failure. Overall, it was more of an experiment than anything else, the build quality seems to be very good and functionality is on par with other much more expensive water meters, overall great value for the money

Nice quality ABS construction, the perfect way to keep track of your own water usage. Also would work for an add on to a rental not metered.

Well made and a fair price!

I needed a simple but accurate water meter for the summer house. I wanted to know how many gallons of water we have for gardening, and I did not want to spend the evening reading the manual and learning functions that I would never need. The installation was straightforward. The adapter from ½ NPT to the garden hose came with the water meter, and the readings are accurate. I received an older unit without all the bells and whistles, with all metal housing, which probably will last many years, and I don't have to be concerned with any Bluetooth standards or new internet protocols.

This bargain priced hot water meter by Watflow is well made and works perfectly. I use cold water meters like this to track water usage for my tenants. This is the first hot water version that I have used. It's every bit as much quality as the cold water versions that I have installed from another manufacturer at twice the price. Now I can check the hot water usage per apartment as well - and at a bargain price. It's nice that it has a built-in pulse output so I can connect a remote counter to be able to see from my landlord office, not only the number of gallons that are being used but also just to see current flow status. These are great for sub-metering to assess tenants for their usage and also just to determine waste usage. This looks to be the quality of one I'd expect my local utility to use for billing, although of course most utilities are going to remotely-readable ones with a wireless mesh so that they don't have to send out a meter reader. The calibration is wired shut with a tin crimp, really official-looking. I'd trust this to read accurately.
