It works very well, and it is very easy to clean.

In my case, I didn't buy it for myself, but I liked its style and the price. However, the person I gave it to is absolutely delighted.

Broken after a handful of uses. I'm so mad. We decided to try this brand instead of another instant pot because of the compact size and other reviews. The pressure cook option is broken. The steam/pressure just keeps pouring out of the sides of the lid... And out the back cut out piece. Less than a year owning it. Our insta pot later for 7 years. Not like this was cheap.

Excellent product simple and effective saves a lot of cooking time

I am an experienced pressure cook. I was cooking with pressure cookers on the stove for several years when I started using the Inslant Pot brand in 2016. Recently I needed to replace one of my Instant Pots that I use every day. Multiple Instant Pots that I bought as a replacement had a burn notice indicating an issue with the thermostat. I decided to try this 5qt Midea and I have been very happy. I have read that Midea actually manufactured the Instant Pots and I can see the resemblance. The Midea is much lighter due to the plastic lid. The inner pot is stainless steel so the food never touches plastic. I have never used the various settings except pressure cook and sous vide. Of course you can change the time and select quick pressure release. I make yogurt with the sous vide function at 113°F. One thing that is a negative is closing the lid. There are 2 white arrows that you need to line up to close the lid. It is a bit difficult and takes a few tries. All in all I love it and have been very happy with daily oatmeal, soups and rice. I also tried the slow cook function and was pleased with the results. I am changing to 4 stars because the inner pot is not stainless steel and might be aluminum.

I’ve been using the Midea Electric Pressure Cooker for over a month now, and it has quickly become a kitchen essential especially over the holidays. I’ve used several of its functions like pressuring cooking, sautéing, steaming and even slow cooking. I already have a pressure cooker so this is a great addition giving me an additional 5-quart capacity for family gatherings. Some of the features are standard: * Easy to read settings with multiple functional programming with one touch buttons. * Easy to clean given the non-stick surface. * Performs well and efficient. Overall, the best feature is the steam release value is on the front so no more having to wear an oven mitt to release steam at the source on top.
