We saw Miss Rachel’s potty training video first and loved it, so we grabbed the book — and it’s been a helpful, fun addition as we’re about to commence potty training. Easy to follow and keeps things positive.

I recently pre-ordered this book, and I was delighted when it arrived just in time for us to begin potty training my 2-year-old. Ms. Rachel has once again crafted an exceptional resource that is particularly helpful for parents navigating the challenges of potty training, especially with stubborn toddlers.The book is engaging and beautifully illustrated, which captures my child's attention effectively. One of his favorite parts is the catchy handwashing song included in the book—it not only makes the learning process more enjoyable but also reinforces good hygiene habits.Additionally, the pages of the book are made from sturdy board material with a glossy finish, making them easy to clean and resistant to wear and tear. This is especially beneficial when dealing with little hands that tend to get sticky!Overall, this book has been an invaluable tool in making the potty training process smoother and more fun for both of us. I bought this book to help my 3 year old with potty training. The main character “Bean” is relatable to my toddler & she loves him! The handwashing song we use every day. Extra potty training tips are on the last page. The book is sturdy & easy to wipe off. Ms Rachel’s potty training special on Youtube goes great with the book too! Highly recommend.

It's a great book, super sturdy for small hands. We love the images, my daughter is a huge Ms. Rachel fan. Since getting this book, she always talks about the potty and wants to try to go on it. She's not potty-training age (yet), but I think it's doing a wonderful job in introducing the topic to her. It's got great tips on the back for parents as well!

My toddler is about a year and a half, and this book is helping introduce potty training language in a fun, gentle way. He’s starting to tell me after he’s gone “pee pee” or “poo poo,” which feels like a big milestone. It’s been a great start for our potty training adventure!

If your toddler loves Ms. Rachel, this book will be an instant hit. It follows the same engaging, interactive style that makes her videos so effective for young kids. The illustrations are bright, the language is simple, and the routine-based structure makes it a great tool for teaching bathroom independence.However, one thing I wish it included was wiping as a step in the potty process. My toddler, who is usually very receptive to books reinforcing daily routines, flat-out refused to acknowledge wiping as necessary simply because it wasn’t in the book. I had to supplement with reminders every time, which was frustrating.That said, the handwashing song in the book is fantastic. We use it every single time, and it has made handwashing much more fun and automatic in our house. If your little one responds well to music and repetition, this book will definitely help reinforce good bathroom habits. Just be ready to add in the wiping step yourself if your toddler takes Ms. Rachel as the final word on how things should be done.
