Matte Screen Protector for iPad Mini 7 8.3 inch (A17 Pro, 2024)/ iPad Mini 6 8.3 inch (2021), Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint Tempered Glass Film Smooth as Silk, 2 Pack

I was fed up of constantly cleaning fingerprints from regular glass screen protectors, so after reading other reviews and viewing video reviews I decided to take a punt on this product for my iPad Mini 6. I was concerned about how much a matte screen protector would affect the display quality, having had other paper feel type screen protectors in the past. I needn’t have worried, with the lack of fingerprints and the reduced glare, I think the picture quality is just as good as with the tempered glass screen protector I had on previously. As other reviews have stated, this screen protector, while matte, doesn’t feel like the paper type ones, but is more like the feel of a frosted glass bottle or drinking glass, silky smooth with none of the grabbing you get when you run your finger over regular glass screen protectors. The included fitting frame makes getting a centralised position quite easy, although the protector is a tight fit in the frame, so if you don’t have it tight up against the inside of the frame you may need to reposition it. The screen protector has a small clear border and with the wide bezels of the iPad, it looks very stylish once fitted. While this is expensive ish compared to all the generic tempered glass protectors available, you do get 2, so I think it is good value given the quality. I would suggest fitting it in a steamy bathroom to take as much dust out of the air as possible, I didn’t initially and ended up having to fit the second one, as while I maybe could have fiddled about with the supplied dust stickers to remove the trapped dust, I had a second one so didn’t bother mucking about.

I've applied dozens of screen protectors in my life. This one by far was probably the easiest to do and the result is stunningly clean and beautiful. My main use of the ipad mini is reading and this makes the screen much less reflective. It was extremely easy to apply thanks to included plastic frame. Protector is not too thick and does not hinder the functionality. I have tried different brand in the past and this one does not feel as abrasive, so if you're specifically looking for that paper feel, this does not provide that, but that's not a bad thing in my opinion. Pencil still feels good to use, much better than directly on the glass screen.

Brilliant! The fitment frame that comes with it works really well at making sure it’s fitted perfectly straight first time, no having to remove & adjust at all. Works really well at cutting glare in bright sunlight & even even fingerprints don’t affect viewing unlike my phone screen protector. Will definitely be investing in one of these for my phone soon.

I had already bought this company’s screen protector for my iPhone Air and absolutely loved it! So I decided to buy the same product but for my iPad mini, and I am so glad I did! It’s definitely a cheaper option and almost just as good quality as Apples own nano textured glass screen effect. The only negative I have for this particular one, this is really to the seller, was that it didn’t come with the long, hard, flat wipe tool that you use when applying the actual protector itself to remove the air bubbles. I had to use one from another product I’d bought previously that didn’t work. But otherwise a flawless product!

After going trough a lot of reviews, decided to order this matt screen protector for my iPad mini as use the Kindle app and need something to make screen matt and eliminate reflections. This does it, feels like paper(ish) texture and makes reading on the iPad a dream. Installation was very simple and it comes with installation tool and paper instructions and QR code so you can follow YouTube video on how to install. And comes with a second screen protector so it's a bonus in case you need to replace. It's on the expensive side but the quality justifies the price, 100% recommend if you're into reading on the iPad.

I bought a set of two in the kit with all the installation bits for my iPad mini 7 and my daughter’s. We followed the instructions and both were dust free and easy to install. Excellent for writing with my Pencil Pro, superb for cutting down reflections for kindle and news apps and next to no finger prints. I’m the scruffy engineer and my daughter (a doctor) the beautiful calligraphy expert. Both samples used the iPad notes enhancements that are built in. I’m now thinking of getting the same brand for my iPad Pro 11.

Excellent matte screen protector. Easy to put on with the alignment adapter. Gone are the glare from light sources. Does not seem to affect image quality. Great that it comes in a 2pack in case you break one or have 2 of the same devices.

I bought this matte screen protector for my iPad Mini 7 and I couldn’t be happier with it. It went on easily without a single bubble and fits perfectly. The matte finish makes the screen much gentler on the eyes and it really helps reduce the reflections that iPad Minis suffer from with their glossy screens. It would have been nice if it had a slight privacy angle, but even without that it does a wonderful job. The surface feels soft and smooth to use, and it stays much cleaner with fewer fingerprints. I’ve tried a lot of screen protectors for the iPad mini, but this one is easily the most satisfying to use — especially if you’re particular about texture and touch feel. The surface feels incredibly premium, almost like the nano-texture glass on the Pro Display XDR or even the glass trackpad on MacBooks. It has that velvety smoothness with just the right amount of resistance — perfect for both writing and everyday swiping. Extremely satisfying under the fingertip or Apple Pencil. The edges are beautifully finished — smooth and gently rounded, which makes it feel like a natural extension of the iPad rather than something stuck on top. It doesn’t catch at the corners like some cheaper ones do. My only gripe: the alignment frame that came with it wasn’t perfect. It left the protector slightly misaligned on my first try. Not a dealbreaker — just off by a millimeter or so — but worth noting if you’re obsessive about centering. That aside, once it’s on, it looks and feels amazing. If you’re looking for a screen protector that actually improves the tactile experience of your iPad mini, this one’s a winner.

Really great screen protector. I use it for flying and it cuts down glare in the cockpit due to the matte finish, but does not degrade screen quality. I appreciate that the kit came with 2 protectors. It was very easy to install. Would 100% buy again.
