Planetary Herbals Ginseng Revitalizer, 964 mg, Tablets, 180 Tablets

I love these because I can take them on an as-needed basis when I am expecting a tough day, or a few really tough hours. I do not take these daily. Even half a pill 1/2 hour before you need it (without food) will give you a boost. This is my go-to when I need to power through something that I: a) need to have a lot of extra energy for (like going out dancing or going to the gym: 2 pills), b) power through something crappy with a smile on your face (like childcare: 1/2 to 2 pills...depending on how bad the kids are), or c) need to be super pleasant and smiley for many hours (like a five hour meeting; 1.5 to 2 pills). d) need a little boost to my confidence or courage (1/2 pill) e) for super duper extra crazy energy (you've been warned), combine this with Maca normal dose, but you might crash with this combo when it wears off. Eating before it wears off can lessen crash effects. Take these in half pill increments and gauge your reaction and go from there, but not more than 2-3 max a day. Half a pill up to 2 pills max will give you the extra energy and make you pleasant and gregarious, charming, basically, your best, so you get an energy boost without the demonic effects of other "energy" supplements. Sometimes, I take 2, but space them out to last all day. This stuff works! I don't recommend taking it in the evening though unless you plan to burn off that energy because it may keep you from sleeping if taken too late. There are no "crash" effects, but when it wears off, you can tell because you are back to your previously crappy state of being; just eat a snack and you'll feel better. ;-)

Excellent product, but it was delivered so late. I don’t understand why you would promise a package in two days then take a week to deliver it.

I'm currently a student of Chinese Medicine and those of you who know the hardcore school routine, recognize that your system is very taxed throughout the year. The end of the Spring term finals left me exhausted, fatigued, weak, deficient and my mind clouded over. Digestion was also not doing well. I will say this formula worked pretty quickly on me (within a week) on just 3 tablets daily. I'm now about 3 weeks in and my sleep is deep, solid. I'm alert, more energetic than I've ever been in a few years. My attention in class is pretty good, not foggy and I'm even a bit more out-going, which is strange. I do not feel exhausted or overly stressed like before at the end of the day...usually I'm just tired by end of long week. These tablets are really worth it and give me energy all day. Prior to taking the tablets, I didn't even have any spare energy to work out, now, that is possible. It seems on an energy scale of 1-10 (10 being fantastic), I went from a 3 to a 9. I love this brand which my local health food store no longer carries so I order it here. It has a mixture of different kinds of ginseng plus other energy enhancing ingredients. I am very happy with my purchase.

I take three of these whenever I need a boost for that day in energy and alertness. It has several varieties of ginseng within as well as a bit of Fo-Ti. My recommendation would be to take it in combination with a maca tablet for a more well rounded energy.
