Item varies from description
I'm going to keep these wheels but they are different from the description. The wheels are very similar to the description but not the same. You can find these other paces for about $90 each. The tires say Maxxis on the side but are unlike any Maxxis tires I've ever seen. The are not Maxxis Crossmark II like the description says. Instead they have Ardent on the side. I'm not sure they are actually Maxxis Ardent. The side walls are the flimsyest I've ever seen and they don't have the other info next to the word Ardent like normal Maxxis tires do. If I saw these tires in a bike shop and just wanted something super cheap to put on a bike I was selling this might be my choice. I'd be willing to pay $15-$20 a piece for them.So taking all this into account I'd say this is a fair deal, not a great one and not accurate to the description.

Pretty impressed
Received today. First thing I noticed was they shipped with Maxxis Ardent tires instead of Crossmark 2. I suppose I can live with that - I just wanted a decent wheel/tire set, CHEAP! After I inflated the tires, I installed the skewers - they were SRAM. Then, I noticed the hubs - SRAM! I bounced the wheels a few times to set the spokes, then checked them for roundness - almost perfectly true! Then I checked the description - yep, I didn't even realize that I ordered a wheelset with SRAM hubs! So far, I am impressed. I'll update after a couple of rides.

impressed, came with sram hubs and maxxis adent tires
When I got the wheels I was impressed because I wasn’t sure the hubs would fit into my mountain bike frame. Tested, works very well. Exited to put the 11 speed cassette and see these wheels in action.
