Joseph Joseph 98169 Complete Carving Set, Black/Red, Set of 3 , Large

I bought this item whilst it was on offer at a really good price, it arrived the next day as indicated and was well packaged. I was a little apprehensive at first as I removed layer after layer of Amazon packaging and boxes but eventually stumbled across the original Joseph Joseph branded box. I carefully removed the items and was pleasantly surprised by their sturdiness and visual appeal. I discarded the board into the recycling bin as my only interest was in the carving set, I removed the knife from its holder and it balanced perfectly in my hand, I immediately knew that this would be ideal for my knife throwing act. The blade is extremely sharp and pointed and creates a lovely thud as it nestles into the rotating oak board that I strap my wife to as part of my act. Just need to order another five to complete the set.

Great Quality set - Sick of trying to carve meat with the stable kitchen knifes which aren't the sharpest tools in the box.Bought this set on a lightning deal for £26 and its excellent value for money, especially as it is Japanese Stainless Steel and comes with a holder.Haven't used it yet on a joint but the blade seems extremely sharp. Will update here once used for real!

Nice product though the fork I think could do with a thicker handle. Got it on an Amazon deal so very good value for money.

This is my 2nd one of these. I got it on a daily deal with the knife. The knife is sharp enough but the handle is at such an odd angle I cannot carve with it. Knives do cut into the surface of the chopping board because that’s what it is designed to do to save the edge of the blades. My last one in red lasted for two years of daily use cooking from scratch. I see no reason this back one will be any different. It didn’t wear out, it just looked old and well used.

Neat, compact and well-designed. Carving set is magnetic which is really handy to keep the sharp elements together. Have had good use out of it already (since Christmas) and would recommend.

I’ve a couple of plastic carving boards that have seem better days so when I saw this in the lightning deals thought I’d try it and really glad I did! Used it for Sunday dinner today and loved it!Stuck a piece of beef on the spikes and they are sharp (so beware when opening the package ) it held it firmly for carving. Then the knife and fork join with magnets is a clever idea and work.the knife is Japanese steel and is a super sharp knife that carves fantasticly well! After use put it in its sheaf and I leave it on the board ready for next time! Flip over for veg or whatever you’d think of.! Looks smart easy clean comfortable lo use. I’d recommend this to all.

Excellent delivery time and well packed. This carving set is fantastic. Knife and fork are magnetised together and kept in a safety cover. Love it! Great size for a Christmas turkey.

Very sturdy thick carving board. One side has grips for meat to stop moving when carved and the other side is smooth. The Carving knives are brilliant as the are magnetic and come in a protective case to store them in. Excellent quality

I have one at home and one on the boat, it’s a great carving set.
