From a novice: This Power Screwdriver is AMAZING!
The media could not be loaded. I hope you will take a review from a novice as seriously as some of these other reviews from professionals. As a 53 year-old man, I am a little ashamed to admit that I am not much of a handy person. I usually hire people to come to my home to do heavy-duty work. What I have grown tired of is using an ordinary screwdriver to put together furniture. I often buy stands for my televisions or cabinets for my thousands of Blu-Ray and DVD movies.I thought I would treat myself to something special. I wanted a power screwdriver, however, I didn't need anything overly expensive or powerful. When I did some searching on Amazon, I came to a product that was Amazon's best purchased item. However, when diving into the reviews, it was actually this particular product from WORX that reviewers were recommending instead.........I can see why. This is not an ultra-powerful screwdriver that I can see professionals taking out on the job with them. However, for general household use, it has more than enough torque and extra cool features that make it the essential power screwdriver for the home.First, it comes with all the bits you will ever need. In fact, so many, that you get two cartridges full. The cartridges are inserted into the power handle as if you were loading a gun. You simply rotate the carousel to select the bit you want. No more losing screw heads.Next, it comes with a nice little light that really helps you see what you are doing when leaning over your object in a dimly lit environment.Next, it has a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The cord plugs into the base of the screwdriver. Finally, it has enough power for just about any household fixture. I have been putting together video cabinets over the past few days and this screwdriver has enough power to drive the screw into the wood. I love the fact that I can easily switch between different sized Phillips heads by simply rotating the enclosed bit carousel. So cool! While it is true there is no adjustment speed nor magnetic heads, that's something that is not going to concern most commoners. This power screwdriver is so well designed that you can forgive that shortcoming. I mean, I don't have to worry about losing any screw bits.Listen, as someone who has spent his life screwing furniture or fixing household items with a manual screwdriver, this is one of the best purchases I ever made. The first time I pressed that trigger and watched that screw lock into the wood, I was pleased as punch. No more tired wrists from doing it manually.I would highly recommend this power screwdriver!

Handy Tool for the small jobs
Currently refinishing our kitchen cabinets and finding this is a fantastic little tool for pulling hinges and drawer fronts.I've had this one since 2012 and it is still going strong. The tool has reasonable torque, a bright light and since it stores and changes its own bits, there is no fumbling around looking for the "right" bit while I'm up on a ladder or deep in a cabinet. The small size is also an advantage when working in tight spaces.PROS- Bits don't get lost- Decent Torque- Bright light- Easy to use in tight spaces- Standard bits replace the ones that get wornCONS- Not nearly the battery life of a 18V tool- Charger is an odd size- Not always enough torque to get old screws out of wood on the first try

I guarantee you will adore this electric screwdriver!
I bought this screwdriver, and I swear I don't think I will ever need another. As a woman who grew up shooting guns as well, you hold it in a pistol grip LOL! You can even shuck it back to expose a cartridge (comes with two cartridges) with additional heads for the screwdriver, you simply turn it to the one you want and then pull the top back and screw until your hearts content! Ummmm, that sounds wrong on a couple of different levels LOL!Seriously, this is the most impressive, brilliantly designed, effective, wonderful electric screwdriver that I've ever owned. And I have owned a score of them over the years. Do your self, your wife, your husband, or anyone you know a service, and buy them this screwdriver. It will make building things or fixing things much, much easier! I'd give this product one hundred stars if I could, but five will have to suffice. It also has a flashlight on the front so you can even screw in the dark! Oh bother, I've done it again, that just sounds so wrong, especially when I'm talking about power tools LOL!Beth Burch

Great for light use occasional DIYer
Pros:-The cool factor for this drill is off the charts--it feels like a gun/revolver with nifty bit change system-The bit system is great for keeping the bits handy-The light is good-All around clever product that actually worksCons:-Limited by what bits come with it, though for most light uses--it has you nicely covered-Biggest knock against in my opinion is lack of variable speed-Second biggest knock against it is lack of torque adjustmentI got it for my father-in-law for Christmas and quickly borrowed it back to put together a doll bed for my daughter--it was fun to use and worked well--one just needs to be careful not to over torque screws. For a light user, it is a great product. For serious DIYers, you'll want to look for a drill with variable speed and torque adjustment.

I wasnt sure if it was worth it at first.... Now I dont know how I would have managed without it.
I use this alot for taking light swith and outlet covers off and on and replacing switches and outlets as well... I filled one cylinder with phillips and flat tip screwdriver bits so im always one "cock" of the gun away from a phillips or flat tip. This is great for working on light fixtures and switches and outlets where you find covers that require a flat bit and switches and outlets that may require either a flat or phillips bit. I often find on all the electrical work I do that I am ALWAYS switching back and forth between the two.... it is a real time savor.. I Love It!The drill has a decent amount of power and the battery life is superb..***Update 12/2018***After 3 years of use this screwdriver is still going strong. It still holds a charge for nearly as long as it did when it was new and just as powerful. I will definitely buy again when this one fails or if I just need another. It's not something I use daily but I can leave it in my tool box for months and months and it's still ready to go when I grab it. It has earned a permanent place in my tool box so it's always around the house, the shop, or the jobsite when I want it.
