Hape Wooden Sushi Selection Set| Pretend Realistic Role Play Food Toys for Kids

Bought this for my soon to be 2 year old and she loves it! Well made and durable! Super cute and a huge hit. The pieces are the perfect size.

This is the cutest most realistic sushi set out there! It’s made of wood with two felt pieces that velcros onto the rice pieces. Some of the other sets I looked at was either plastic or plastic mixed with cardboard. These pieces painted wood and are done so nicely. We have several products from Hape and are very happy with the aesthetic and the quality with all of them. Bonus, the packaging was almost entirely non plastic except for the wrapping the chopsticks came in. Everything else was wrapped in tissue paper and the set came in a paper sack within the box. Hape has done it again with this set. You will not be disappointed with this!!

We love sushi so we thought this was a pretty cute play set for our 3 yr old. My son plays with it more than I expected him to!He sets the table and pours my tamari for me. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our set didn't come with the three white sushi rolls instead it came with 4 soy sauce bowls(2 more than expected).A minor bummer but I plan to get a hold of customer service.

Love it. We are a sushi loving family. I bought this for my almost 2 year old because she is at the stage where she has become curious about what we are eating and we have even been able to get her to eat a few pieces of sushi. As far as the choking hazard for under 3, I found the only item that may be a risk is the small chopstick holders. I removed those from the collection and I am confident the item is safe for under 3.It's nice to be able to explain to my child about the different items of sushi in a sanitized and safe way. She is also able to practice holding chopsticks and maybe one day we will be able to enjoy a well mannered sushi dinner together . . . one day.

I bought this for my two year old daughter for Christmas! We absolutely love it and she loves to eat sushi and make me all sorts of food. Everything looks so realistic and very nicely made, my only complaint is that the chopsticks do not hold on to the sushi very well. She has been practicing her chopstick skills with other play food instead. Other than that, we love this and everything about it.

I really like this company. Food play sets are realistic looking and well made. Safe for a smart 2yo and up. I have bought most of the Hape food playsets and remain happy with them. The kitchen I purchased was actually the pink KidKraft vintage kitchen and the Hape playsets work perfectly with it. I would have bought the Hape kitchen had it been a bit more elaborate. Very well packaged and came on time.

Great little creative play sushi platter. My grandsons just love pretending to be sushi chefs.

I had a minor issue when I received this item but the seller corrected the problem quickly. The toy itself is simple but very cute. But be aware as these are children's toys that they are smaller than you might expect. But they are still a good size, well painted, and of good quality.
