Cuisipro Yogurt Maker "Smooth" From Amazon
This Yogurt maker is relatively small, inexpensive, contains 8 small plastic jars with lids, and a long cord. Follow the instructions; it is not complicated. The unit comes with some dried yogurt culture in order to get you started, or just run to the store and purchase one last manufactured plain yogurt, in order to start. (Ponder the chicken-egg-which-came-first philosophical quandry, as you actually need some yogurt/yogurt culture to start a batch.) When you start the process, the only mind-numbing task is watching the milk heat-up. Heat milk, check the thermometer (provided), when milk cools to red line on thermometer, pour some in one jar, mix with yogurt culture or some yogurt, pour back into rest of milk, stir, pour in jars, put on cap, put cover on machine, turn on machine. Go have a drink, watch TV, go to bed. The yogurt will basically take overnight to cook in the machine. Then, throw the small jars in the fridge. Just remember natural plain yogurt is TART. Although it defeats the healthy purpose, the yogurt is fantastic over a nice large store-bought muffin. OK, if you insist on being healthy, the yogurt is also terrific over mixed fresh fruit. Yes, you can add sugar, and flavors after making the basic plain, so have fun and experiment.

Donvier yogurt maker jars
Let me start with I am quite pleased with my Donvier yogurt maker. It makes wonderful yogurt at a fraction of the cost of store bought yogurt. The cups are durable- they go through the dishwasher at least once a week. However, they could be a little more drop resistant. My husband knocked one off the shelf in the fridge and it shattered.

Tops cracked within a month
I bought these containers because the tops of my original containers were cracked. The originals lasted several years before cracking. These cracked within a month. They were hand washed, never put in the dishwasher, and didn't receive heavy use. They were probably each used twice before half of them cracked, and now, a few months later, only one is still uncracked. They're in worse shape than the ones they were replacing. I won't be buying them again.

These work just fine and they are as good as what came with the unit. The problem is that the lids continue to split around the rim. Have to keep replacing them. Sealable containers have been around for a long time. Why are these so pooly made. I assume it is the plastic formula they are using. Time to change. I'd pay more for better lids.

Seller ***** quality*
This is my 3rd set of jars with covers for Donivier Yogurt maker in 5 years. I have no problems with yogurt maker or jars, but covers!!! They keep cracking all the time no matter how gentle you are with them. I wish I could replace only those cheap covers but I have to purchase those expensive jars as well!!! I hope some day this company will became smarter and 1. improve the quality of the covers or 2. starts to sell those practically disposable covers separately for $2 a set!

Great Jars With Tight Lids
I bought these as a second set for my Cuisipro yogurt maker. I make yogurt weekly and have the jars labeled "a" or "b." I rotate the jars and grab a few spoonfuls of the last jar to start the next batch. The official directions from the Cuisipro only fill the jars about 1/3 full. It ensures all of the yogurt is in contact with the warmer. Once the yogurt is finished, it seem like a waste of space to keep them in the jars. When I am low on fridge space, I empty the jars into a larger commercial yogurt carton. The lids fit very tightly and ensure odors or flavors stay out of the yogurt. The lids may be too difficult for most small children to or anyone with hand/grip problems. Putting them requires strength to push and ensure the cap is fully sealed. It is just as difficult to pry them off.Six months after purchase and none of the lids have gotten weak, loose or easier to use with age. Quality product.

Good Product
I bought this for the wife and she really appreciates having them. It is nice to be able to make another round of yogurt prior to running out instead of waiting until you are out of yogurt and then waiting until the next day for more. Also, it is nice to have a few days of leeway in case you can't get around to it that day. Ranked it a 4 instead of five because I am not a big fan of cooking food in plastic and wish glass yogurt jars were available, especially because I anticipate this being a long-term appliance.

These are great for making yogurt....
easy to clean...easy to use...easy to store! I have a few sets so I can have plenty of yogurt on hand. The yogurt maker that these go with is the best!!! The cups seal very nicely. I also learned that when making yogurt in the yogurt maker to not seal the caps tightly...just lay on top during the processing. The yogurt is less runny that way. I suggest that when you get the yogurt maker you should buy a couple of jar sets too! They are also great for making jello and pudding. Then you can just throw them in your kids lunch!

So these jars give me weeks worth of easy to use portions
Since I bought my Instant Pot I am making yogurt every weekend. So these jars give me weeks worth of easy to use portions. I might have to order more as my daughter wants some to. The lids fit nice and tight, although they are snap on rather than screw on. I put some fruit in the bottom, and each one is ready to go.

I purchase the Yoghurt maker jars set thinking they were glass.. my mistake. They do fit in my older yoghurt maker and the lids fit my existing glass jars for which the lids had cracked and broken with age. I can make them work.
