HIGH5 Energy Drink with Electrolytes, Isotonic Hydration, Tropical, 2.2kg

I've been buying this for a few years now. All the flavours are good, it's great value and it mixes easily. When I'm training for marathons, I typically use this on long runs alongside a couple of gels. It helps train your gut without the expense of aiming for >90g/hr with Maurten and other bouji energy products. The size is ideal if you're training regularly.

Great value, swift delivery, works really well

I'm a late 50s guy who has to work hard for fitness now. This stuff has increased my energy levels during my workouts and allowed me to see greater anaerobic improvement. It can be a bit temperamental in mixing (clumps) but have now started to use a hand mixer to make sure it all dissolves correctly - problem solved. Otherwise the taste is great. 100% recommend.

This is a good energy drink from High5. It mixes well, has no funny side effects and helps me keep going on longer bike rides. Good stuff!I've marked it down a star as I'm not massively sold on the tropical flavour. This is unusual as normally High5s flavours are really good. I normally go for the summer fruits flavour but at the time of purchase this 2.2kg tub of tropical was only slightly more money than 1kg tub of summer fruits so decided to give it a go ;)

I use it when I play tennis. It give me the energy I need, and it tastes great. It’s a great product that works well for a fair price. Recommended it to my friends and he loves it too.

Brilliant carb and electrolyte drink. Mixes easily in your water bottle, just make sure to add the water first though or you'll just get a clump in the bottom! Very sweet but that suits me fine, tropical flavour is great.Has helped my rides massively as I was very prone to bottoming out around 20-30 miles but feel like I could keep going whilst drinking 500ml of this per 45 mins to an hour.

I tried the HIGH 5 trial sachets previously and really liked them, so I confidently took the plunge and bought the massive 2.2kg tub of Tropical. I was imagining something fruity, refreshing and vaguely reminiscent of sipping a tropical drink somewhere sunny.Boy, was I wrong.First off, credit where it’s due, delivery was impressively quick. Unfortunately, that just meant the disappointment arrived sooner.I made my first drink exactly as instructed, took an enthusiastic first gulp and immediately wondered whether I’d accidentally filled my bottle from under the kitchen sink.If this is HIGH 5’s idea of “Tropical”, I can only assume nobody involved in developing the flavor has ever actually visited the tropics. Or possibly even seen fruit.It’s genuinely difficult to describe the taste. Imagine washing a mango with Fairy Liquid, dropping it into a bucket of cleaning solution, then drinking the bucket. There’s an initial soapy flavor followed by a lingering chemical aftertaste that really completes the experience.I even went back for another sip just to make sure I hadn’t imagined it.I hadn’t.So now I’m the proud owner of approximately 2.2kg of flavored dish soap powder.Loved the trial sachets, but unfortunately this enormous tub will not be making a return appearance in my cupboard.

I've been using this (and other flavours) for years. Originally - and still - used for off-road cycling, but now also used during tennis. It's my 'secret sauce': when everyone else is flagging towards the end of a *very amateur* session/game, I'm the only one not flagging. If only I could also play tennis better...! :o)On a more serious note, the combination of water (used to mix it), sugars and salts (note, more than just sodium chloride), it's an all-in-one solution - no pun intended... well, just a bit! I just wished I'd discovered this stuff before I bought separate energy gels and salts replacements. Most of which, I still have since starting to use this.

High5’s electrolytes are the only ones that don’t make me bloat. And the tropical flavour is the best one they have. I’ve been drinking it for years and am extremely happy to this day

Edit:Tropical is good if it's cooled, but taste worse in hot weather.Citrus/orange is better for hot weather.

Benutze das Pulver regelmäßig beim Rennradfahren. Schmeckt gut und ist leicht verdaulich im Gegensatz zu diversen Brausetabletten.

Toller Geschmack plus Wirkung!!!Bei heißen fetter und lange Strecken empfehle ich es jedem Sportler !!!!
