LumaDisk 256GB Micro SD SDXC Card High Speed Class 10 Memory Card With Micro SD Adapter

I bought this card for my Nikon D7200 camera. After inserting it into the camera I saw that it would be capable of holding 15k jpeg pictures. I took it along on a trip to the UK. It worked well for the first 2400 pictures after that anytime I took a picture and went to review it, the camera showed it could not open the file. I put a different sd card in and it worked great. So you get what you pay for. I can get more than 4000 picts on a 32 g card with no trouble. But not with this 256 G card.

I'm not a techie so read this review with that in mind. I purchased this to replace a 128GB EVO microSD card in my Samsung Galaxy S8. I removed the 128 SD from my S8 and inserted it into the adapter and then placed it in the SD slot in my Macbook Pro. I created a folder on my desktop and copied all the files on the 128 SD card into the folder; it took about 1 min. to copy 3.6 GB form the EVO card to the folder. I then repeated the process substituting the 256 Luma SD card for the 128 GB EVO SD card and copying the files from the folder to the Luma SD card; it took over 4 minutes to copy the same files to the Luma disk. Since it took so much longer I reversed the process again to mimic the copying from the card to a folder on my desktop. It took about three minutes + to copy the files. So on face value it appears copying to and reading from the Luma card took more then twice as long as the EVO card and both are rated Class 10. Note the date created in the attachment and the available bytes. It appears someone is cleaning out old inventory.

The card completely crashed and died after a year of use.

Save you moving and buy a better brand.
