Used these on a Backhoe Drive shaft Flange to Transmission connection. (8 bolts). These washers and some blue thread locker and my backhoe is on the move again.

I bit over a year ago I built a desktop CNC which uses a load of M5 bolts. The spindles and cutting actions in these can vibrate something fierce. Some of the critical areas got a locktite application but that's not always a great choice for all bolts. For example my Z gantry has a number of bolts that I want to be easily loosened so that I can adjust and tram everything. The flip side to that is I would like them to stay put as much as possible.Until finding these little gems on Amazon I was just periodically checking the tightness. Now these washers sound do all the work for me. There is a slight concave nature to these and serrations that should bite in enough to keep them from backing out. The samples I checked were also very consistent with measurements so that's another big plus.

I build all sorts of things being a fully custom shop. Mostly metal fabrication projects, but sometimes I also do some motorsport projects. Those projects are why I ordered these washers - to give my builds just a little more cool factor and to be able to tell my clients that I used serrated spring washers on all mechanical connections is really nice. Not to mention the obvious improvement in how "locked" the fastener is. My "calibrated" right arm tells me that it takes about 50% more force to unscrew a fastener that has one of these washers on it, so I'm sold on their locking power!
