I wanted a keepsake and I wanted it to be something a little different. A footprint on paper felt ordinary. A footprint on a baseball felt like something we would actually keep and display for years. This ink pad made that happen and it was much easier than I anticipated. Full disclosure: I had the pad backwards at first and got ink directly on his foot instead of using the clean touch method the right way. Once I realized it I decided to just roll with it since we were already committed. Honestly I think the direct contact gave me even better coverage and detail than I might have gotten the correct way - every contour of his little foot transferred clearly. The ink is non-toxic and baby safe so no harm done, and it wiped off his foot easily with a baby wipe. A tip that made a big difference: start with the toes and work toward the heel. Babies tend to curl and pull their toes in when something touches their foot, so getting the toes down first while they are relaxed gives you the best result. I did have to go back and touch up two toes but the print came out clean and sharp with no smudging. The ink dries slower on a surface like a baseball than it would on paper so give it time before touching it. I accidentally got a little on my finger and touched the back of the ball and it did not wipe off - which actually told me everything I needed to know about how well it would stay on permanently. UPDATE!!!: Someone from the company contacted me regarding this issue and very kindly informed me they have a new and improved “bigger” ink pad. They sent it to me Free Of Charge. (I actually received 2) The bigger ink pad was perfect! It was actually much cleaner than the original. Just have to be careful on the first initial use bc it is very full of ink. The smaller ink pad is definitely better for newborns/infants. And I would recommend using the bigger ink pad for 12m+. Depending on your child’s size of course. I do have to thank the company once again for reaching out and truly caring about your customers and having exceptional customer service. Truly recommend this product and company. Thank you!! **** ———————————————————————————— First, When receiving this product my first thought was “my daughters foot won’t fit” which was exactly what happened. My daughter was 14 months when I used it, she is a size 5 in shoes, and her heel didn’t fit. So I have a heeless print in my scrapbook now. It is definitely made for younger babies. Second, the initial print was SO BLOTCHY,(see photo) it’s horrible.... everyone after that, yes the ink is less but it’s way better. Third, the ink WONT DRY! I literally gave it a week and it still came off onto my fingers. Fourth, I liked how the owner actually emailed me asking how the product is and making sure it came undamaged. BUT. I actually complained about all the following (along with, wishing they would say the dimensions about how small it is) they did write me back, but Basically ignored everything I was concerned about. They said it drys within a few minutes, wrong. Also telling me they have a “bigger” size now along with giving me a 15% off coupon. NO THANK YOU! I will not be purchasing from you ever again! The only plus is that it’s a neat invention, no ink on your child, and it’s very easy to use. P.S. FYI: My daughters hand did fit onto it, but just barely! **

Absolutely perfect for making baby keepsakes! Clean and effective. Really only a one time use per ink pad, but still worth it

Purchased this item to get prints of our babies foot while he is still little (3 months). The product is easy to use for the most part but I do get ink smudges on me or baby somehow in the process ( NOT putting baby’s foot on the ink side) although it comes off easily with wipes. I saw some reviews where people say they got many prints out of this one ink pad and that was not my experience. I used it a had full of times to practice and now that I feel more comfortable with the product and how to get the best prints, it’s running out of ink and I don’t press down hard either. Not sure if the one I got was just a bad batch or something.

This is by far one of my favorite purchase when it comes to my baby. As any mom I’m big on making memories and having something to remember of my baby for when he grows up. This was super easy to use and didn’t get any ink on my baby’s hands or feet! The plastic container that it comes in makes it’s portable and safe in case it falls into the wrong hand or paws😉 the prints came out beautifully. It does take a few tries to get it right. Highly recommend doing this when your little one is taking a nap. The color came out perfect. The only downside is the more you use it the less apparent the ink looks, honestly I didn’t mind we bought another the same night we used it because of how good the prints came out. There was no cleaning left, just a simple push from the pad onto paper and voila! I will say you should also put the prints on a thick piece of paper, instead of regular printing paper. I put a book underneath the paper so that it lowered the chance for error. Also perfect for your little fur babies, very versatile! If you’re questioning whether you should get this or not, DONT!!! This is gonna last you a lifetime and you’re going to love to look back on those perfect little feet, hands, paws whatever you want! I love this and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Hard to use and this is a one time use thing so if its not perfect which is very hard to do with a baby, the prints messed up and your shot is ruined because there's not enough ink to do it multiple times. Waste of money. I ended up using a regular water based ink pad and that worked great and I could take 20 tries until I got several good prints with ink to spare.

This touch ink pad is such a fun toddler activity and makes the cutest keepsake! We used it for little handprints to give to family members, and everyone loved them. You can definitely get more than one use out of it — we even stamped our dog’s paw with no issues. It’s mess-free, easy to use, and turns out adorable every time. Super fun and a great buy!

I got this because it stated extra large. It is not at all. It’s more like medium. If you have a medium sized dog paw, sure it’ll fit. However it doesn’t fit my Great Pyrenees/ St. Bernard’s dog paw.

I purchased this product to use on our dog who was a Newfoundland and his paws were the size of an adult hand so I needed to get the largest one possible. The size was perfect but I was sorely disappointed when it didn't work as expected. First off the product showed up in an envelope that did not protect it from pressure, the ink pad had pressed against the plastic case it came in and had already applied part of the ink. I purchased this product thinking it would be easier and cleaner than using an ink pad but I wish I would have just used an ink pad, it would have made a nice print. I didn't have time to send it back as my dog was not going to be with us much longer. So I tried to use it but the amount of pressure required to actually get a clean print was impossible. Short of laying it on the ground in his walking path and making him stop long enough to put his full body weight on it (130lbs), I could not get his foot to press hard enough onto the product laying on sheet of paper to get any type of clear print, I even tried to press on his foot while he stood so 130+lbs of pressure. I am heart broken now that I don't have any print of his at all. After I had used it once there wasn't much ink left anywhere on it, I put one of my fingers on the ink and pressed my finger on a sheet of paper and it worked. Long story short, just use an ink pad and a sheet of paper at least then you would have multiple chances to get a perfect print.
