Did the Job
Wife had stitches that had to be removed before a certain time. Getting any kind of health care in Tucson can be a problem as is transportation for us since I was an army medic years ago I decided to take them out myself. These were not wire so I ordered th removal kit which was deemed sterile but I did supply my own alcohol and gauze. Kit arrived promptly from Amazon and a good thing too since the stitches had become difficult since the time frames indicated I didn't want to remove them myself but it was obvious in was necessary because of the appointment that I could get to have it done by a medical professional. The kit worked fine for the type of stitch and I saved it for unwanted but possible future use. There is a kit for wire but a trickier job and there is a technique for proper removal of sutures. It was timely for me to do it, really inexpensive, and the scissors and forceps did the job but for professional practice and repeated use there are finer instruments that are more expensive and available.

Easy stitch self removal
My Fiance got stitches in his hand (loop stitch). Instead of spending $500+ in a return trip to the ER to remove he was able to use this kit to easily, safely, and quickly remove the loop stitch. The value for money was certainly there not just in money but also time not having to sit in the ER. He felt better because the stitches were causing some pain and they felt like the skin had a lot of tension. The kit wasn’t very thick so it was easy to slide underneath and cut the stitches. He has large hands and the scissors felt good in his hands and not too tight. 10/10 really helpful kit (this review is not medical advice)

Got the job done.
Not the best quality, but totally reasonable for the price. I struggled to get under most the stitches, but after some pulling and digging, I was able to. Happy to keep them, and for the price, they are well worth it. But had hoped for slightly better quality.

Worked well.
Served the purpose. Was traveling when stitches needed removing. We removed ourselves no problems. These are made for one time use so of course don’t expect commercial grade quality.

Tweezers are garbage, scissors are good
My son got stitches in his forehead while we were on vacation in another country. The experience was less than desirable, and the stitches were extremely tight and embedded. (I have 5+ years experience as a nurse). I waited until he fell asleep and I was able to remove the stitches myself, the scissors were great. The tweezers are trash; flimsy cheap plastic. I ended up using needle nose tweezers from my vanity as the tweezers included wouldn’t hold a piece of yarn let alone a stitch.

Spend a little more money for a better Kit
The scissors are dull and the tweezers are very cheap and poorly made.

Excellent set for the price
I am a nurse so I always try to keep a suture set on hand someone’s always coming to me and saying I don’t wanna have to go back to the doctor to get my stitches out and since I do that at work anyway, if I can help someone out, I’m glad to do it
