Companion on my runs and bike rides
I have been using this for 6 months now. I am amazed at the quality.I used to have Samsung Galaxy SII and now I have Samsung Galaxy SIII. Even with the Otterbox on my Samsung Galaxy SII, it fit the armpocket. My current cell phone, Samsung Galaxy SIII fits well with the Urban Armor Gear "Outland" phone case.Whenever I go running and riding my bike, I take this with me.I usually set up my phone (run the workout radio, workout apps (Endomondo)) and then put it in the armband. I have used the screen few times and it has been responsive. The armpocket is really comfortable (stretches) and if it is too tight, it tends to come off loose for me, especially while running. Overall though, it stays on. I haven't had skin issues so far. Almost 90% of the time, I am wearing this partly on the skin and most of it is on my workout clothes. There are small details that truly shows they taught of everything. The inside pocket holds two of my keys and an ID. In the past, a single car key has fit in it nicely. This comes handy when your running pants may not have any pockets to hold some cash and credit card. There is a place for the cord to rest (right next to the zipper, the cord goes through it) so that the loose wire doesn't dangle, going back and forth (can be annoying during running). It makes it manageable. When I had my Samsung Galaxy SII, the earphone jack was on the right side. Now that I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII, the earphone jack is on the left side. There are two holes on the bottom of the armband. They knew some phones would have the earphone jack on left and some on the right. And there was no need to leave all the bottom portion open, exposing it to weather conditions. One thing that I really love is that this armpocket doesn't stink of odor. I don't wash it regularly (as a matter of a fact, I haven't washed it since I bought it!) as I should and I do sweat a lot, especially when running. I cannot smell a damn odor of sweat or anything. I have yet to run during a rainy day so I cannot really say much about that.If you are a runner or a biker and need to carry your cell phone with you to record yours stats, I highly recommend this. Two thumbs up!

Doesn't Perform As Advertised
The Armpocket Xtreme i30 is not moisture proof. I talked to two different reps from Armpocket on two different occasions before buying one. I was assured both times it was water proof and would not let sweat seep through. After using it one time on a five mile run, which by the way, was early in the morning on a cloudy day so I was not sweating as profusely as in the heat of the day, the inside was soaked after the run. The ramifications of this might not hit home to someone purchasing this item, so let me also share this. I bought a Belkin armband initially for my new Galaxy S3. After a few runs the phone quit charging. When I took it in to the Verizon Store the rep took the back off the phone and the inside was covered in gooey moisture. At first I thought the battery was leaking something, but he assured me that was not so. Finally it dawned on me it was moisture build up from my runs. Since the phone was less than 30 days old the manager gave me a break and replaced the phone with a new one. Had I waited a few more days to take it in, I would have been stuck getting a refurbished one from Samsung. As it was, I lost my unlimited data plan I was grandfathered in on, and had to accept a limited plan in exchange for the new phone. Plus, there was the hassle of customizing my phone again to the settings and apps I had on my previous phone. The five/four star reviews this armband receives are due to the users not really being aware of the dangers of sweat seeping through the pouch. They are based on the users' perception of the comfort and usefulness of the Armpocket. If I were rating this product strictly on how it fit, how comfortable it is on my arm, and its other features, I would give it five stars. If heavy exercise or running is not the reason for your purchase, then by all means get this product. But if you are a runner, or sweat a lot because of an intense workout, your phone is going to get wet through the sweat seeping into the pouch, that's guaranteed. In a sudden rain the Armpocket probably would protect your phone temporarily until you got in out of the rain. But in a prolonged time period such as a long run, the sweat is going to penetrate the Armpocket Xtreme i30.Since the Armpocket Xtreme i30 seems to be the best armband out there from the research I've done, I am not going to return it to buy and inferior armband that will allow moisture also. Instead, I am reluctantly going to put my phone in a zip lock baggie, fold it around the phone, and then put it in the pouch. When I run, I simply click my song playlist, and don't bother touching the phone again until I'm done. However, the baggie idea will not work if you want to use the controls on your phone while running/working out.If the sweat factor is not an issue, buy the Armpocket. If it is, beware!

Overall good experience
PROS:1)Compatiblility: Holds a Samsung Galaxy S3 w/otterbox effectively unlike other brands(to my knowledge).2)Functionality; readjustment during running is NOT necessary. While tight enough to fit well to the arm while exercising, even during movement of the arms, the band does NOT slide. I workout regularly so my arms are not flabby but I'm also not a body builder.CONS: Its marginally difficult(usually requires about 30 seconds of tug and pull) to insert my GS3 phone w/ Otterbox due to the retaining strap located on the inside. However, if you simply slide the phone in behind this strap, it is still possible to close the zipper and hold the phone securely while exercising. While I found it very difficult to use the touch screen while the phone was in the case, this also did not bother me because, personally, I set the music to shuffle, turn on my running app, and I leave the phone alone until i'm finished* My running app automatically pauses when I stop running.Overall, I find it refreshing a company manufactures an armband for the Samsung GS3. Personally, I could not find another on the market. Although this was my only choice I believe anyone looking to run with a Samsung GS3 should buy this Armband. See you in the next marathon. #runforBoston

Mein Mann ist begeistert
Handy, einzelne Schlüssel und sogar Geld passen ideal in die Tasche, die dabei auch nicht allzu bullig am Arm ist.
