Do not buy this- I have been trying for weeks to get a refund after being absolutely humiliated because the person I gave these to called and said they were no good or that they wouldn't release the funds or whatever. But this is not a reputable card and you may not get any money or the person you're getting this for may not get any money out of your purchase. So beware. Beware beware. Beware, I will be contacting the ftc to report Amazon because they won't refund. Zero stars or they won't allow this to be first on the list.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Do not purchase!! Such a headache to find an online merchant that will take the virtual eGift card. Bought this for a friend on 4/27/26 and they spent all day trying to figure out which online merchant will take it as payment. - You cannot add the virtual eGift card to your Apple Wallet. Says merchant is not supported. - Payments won't go through with PayPal, or Amazon. PayPal and Amazon will allow you to add the eGift card into the wallets. But as soon as you try to pay with it, it won't go through. - Depending on the vendor, it will not accept the card as payment. Friend was finally able to use it at REI.com for sporting goods after several tries with different online merchants. - Customer service number provided is just a run-around of auto prompts. Because you cannot add it into your Apple wallet or other financial wallets, it will seriously limit how you can use the eGift card. Also, since you usually can't split payments online + unable to add to your wallet, you would have to buy something of EXACT amount of gift card. Unless you want to spend time hunting down online retailers that will take the eGift card, you are better off buying something else.

Don’t do it. The same day I bought this somehow, someway, someone hacked and used $150 out of the $200 I bought and used it in Google Ads. Then you have to call 3 different systems and people to get any type of help. Def will never use this again.

I am writing this review on Christmas Day due to a very disappointing experience. I purchased a $200 virtual gift card a few days ago as a gift for my son. He was able to use it successfully for a $100 purchase through PayPal initially. However, when he attempted to use the remaining balance for an online purchase of an amusement park season pass, the card kept declining, even though the balance was sufficient. I checked the card balance on the issuer’s website, which confirmed $100 remaining, yet all attempts to use the funds failed. I contacted Amazon and the card issuer, mygift.giftcardmall.com, but there was no option to speak with a live representative. I tried multiple methods to redeem the remaining balance, including purchasing another company’s virtual gift card via Amazon, but all attempts were unsuccessful. Ultimately, the only resolution was us making a duplicate purchase from the same shop that sent us a PayPal invoice and then canceling it for a refund. The Etsy shop that sent us the PayPal invoice for $100 was nice enough to refund the amount back to our PayPal account. While this allowed us to access the funds, the process was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. Plus we got the amount off with the help of another company and not the gift card holder who was no help at all. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this gift card. I will not use it again and wish I had read other reviews before purchasing.

Best gift card, easy to use

I got this Visa card in Dec 2024 and activated it. However, I didn’t use it as it had an expiry date nine years away. Fast forward to April 2025 when I tried to use it for the first time on Amazon and it was declined. Called Amazon to find out what the problem was and they stated that I had to call visa as it had been awhile since activation and they couldn’t help. Ok fine. I called visa and they couldn’t help so they told me to contact giftcards.com. Ok fine. When speaking to a representative from giftcards.com, they stated that the card wasn’t activated and the money was still on the card and on Amazon’s end. Now I’m upset as Amazon support told me that they couldn’t do anything. Called back Amazon and spoke to another rep. He then sent the issue to the escalation department and told me to wait 24hours for a response. After 24 hours, still no email. Now by this time, I’m pissed off. It’s been over 3 weeks. I called Amazon and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor assured me that she’s seeing the money still on the card on her end and she will again send the issue to the escalation department. She asked me to wait 48 hours. It’s been over 48 hours and I am upset as I have not heard back anything. It’s been over a month now and I CANNOT USE THE CARD OR GET THE ISSUE RESOLVED!! I will call back and find out what is going on. BUT IT’S NOT WORTH THIS!!!

These cards are perfect for kids. The digital ones allows them to spend safely online without the hassle of putting our perosnal cards online and the physical cards are great for school outings when they need a little bit of money. Cash always disappears and credit cards the same then going thru the hassel of canceling them and then replacing them is just a headache. I send these with my kids when they have school field trips for school and for sports. If they get lost replacing them is so simple. Alway arrive on time right to my phone or home depending on what's happening. I even have grabbed em to have on hand bc they are easy to use.
