Black and Decker FS24C FireStorm 24 Volt Battery Charger

After almost 4 years of charging my 24 volt Fire Storm drill on a regular basis, the batteries went dead. Thought they were just worn out, but after a little troubleshooting found the charger had died. So off I went to Wally World and the other usual suspects for a look-see. How lucky? For only $34.95 they would sell me a replacement or close substitute. Decided to investigate.Went to eBay. Too expensive. Next was the Internet. Lots of companies with overseas addresses. Finally Amazon. Bingo, this charger is exactly what came with the drill and works perfectly. Several hours later, my well used Fire Storm drill was back and ready for action.From now on will try Amazon, first. Kudos to Buckeye Tool Supply as well.

Could not wait for this charger to come in, the original that came with the drill just stopped working. Couldn't get any work done with no drill ( concrete walls ) needed my hammer drill. It finally came in and looked exactly like the original, charged quick enough to drill the four holes I needed, then let it fully charge overnight. As always AMAZON.COM came through with the right product at the right price and the right shipment. Customer for life.....anyone thinking about purchasing from AMAZON.....don't even give it a second thought....just do it !!!!

Charged my Black and Decker battery well - does what it is supposed to do.Price was good.

I was a little hesitant ordering this battery charger because even though the product site listed a bunch of models this charger works with, the drill we bought it for was not among them. I got the model number of the battery charger by looking on the product information tag affixed to the drill itself, but the listing didn't come up under that exact number either when I did a search in Amazon. We were thrilled when it arrived and it worked great! It charged the battery in a couple of hours and his favorite drill is up and running again!

i bought this to replace the one a got with the drill i bought.at the time i was leaveing the charger pluged in all the time not knowing that will lead to a short life of the chaging unit.this new one i replaced lasted less then the first one i got with the drill.i threw out the black and decker drill and went and bought a dewalt drill not a problam yet.if you buy this,after the charge is done,take the battery out of the charger and unplug the charger.

It does not have as large a transformer as original one. It is slower to re - charge the battery .Not the same unit pictured

When this arrived I was a little disappointed with the way it was packaged. It was just wrapped in a piece of plastic with some tape...but maybe that's why it's so cheap.Anyway, I've had it about a month and it seems to work great. I'm not a heavy user of my drill, but when my wife needs a shelf put on the wall or anything else it comes in really handy.I felt like this was the most reasonably priced charger on here...at least when i bought mine. :)

OMG!!! I was so happy to finally find a new Black and Decker FS24C Firestorm 24 Volt Battery Charger. Unbelievable! Why didn't I shop with Amazon first? I forgot! That's why!!! For months, I looked in every place but Amazon? In fact, I almost relented and purchased a brand new drill all together. It's amazing how much money I was able to save. I also really appreciated reading all the reviews that were submitted. This is the very reason I am taking the time to contribute my own review. From now on, I promise always to try shopping on Amazon first. The reviews are honest and extremely helpful. This product turned out to be everything I expected and better. Thanks "Amazon"! You're the best!
