the "mic" doe not work, otherwise sound is amazing, just wish the mic could have worked. They would have been the perfect earbuds for this price range.

I originally had a set of the Black Ops branded version of these earbuds, but they were "borrowed" on a permanent basis by a friend because they were so good. Slightly cheaper than the branded set, these are exactly the same in terms of comfort and performance.Supplied with three sizes of bud, you're pretty much assured of a good fit. The over ear wear of the buds cables ensures they are secure and not constantly falling out, making these the only earbuds I can wear. The wires are covered in a comfortable material that means they can be worn even with glasses without fear of chafing or discomfort.Sound-wise, they are ok. Very clear mid range but if you're looking for some deep bass resonation, buy something else. They are perfect for travelling and casual music, film or audiobook appreciation but for serious listening you'd be better served spending out on a proper set of headphones that can squeeze in the bigger speakers for deeper sound. It may sound like I'm criticising them but honestly, no. For my purpose, which is use as a mobile hands free kit and commuting music listening they are perfect, especially for such a low price. I very much doubt I'll use them for gaming (I have separate Turtle Beaches for that), but again with the small speaker size, they'd not be much good for surround sound or scaring the heck out of myself with grenades and big bangs in C.O.D etc.I've used them regularly as a hands free kit and the microphone is very good. No complaints at all from the other end about noise interference or poor quality.There is one issue I do have. The wires are fabric weave covered and sort of non-tangle. Don't believe a word of it! They disappear into a tangle that would make a plate of spaghetti proud at the slightest opportunity. Use some sort of cable tidy to store them and you'll be better off. Use the supplied pouch at your own peril.Overall these are superb value for money.
