I have wanted a Total Gym since I saw the first infomercial for it more than 20 years ago. I could never bring myself to spend the money on one, though, as I was afraid I wouldn't actually ever use it. I finally decided to suck it up and buy one recently, and it was well worth the wait. It's just as much fun using it as I thought it would be, and it's so easy to use that I make use of it more than expected.This particular model is really reasonably priced and even comes with almost all the accessories of the more expensive models, such as the large, laminated exercise chart; exercise DVDs and manuals; Pilates accessories; chin-up/pull-up attachment; and ab exercise attachment. The only thing some more expensive models have that it didn't come with with was the dip bars attachment, which you can buy fairly cheap on Amazon. What I've noticed as the biggest difference between this and some of the pricier Total Gym models is that the user weight limit is lower (275 pounds, I believe). That shouldn't be an issue for most people, but it's good to know just in case. The more expensive models have higher user weight limits.Overall, this was a great purchase that I wish I would have made sooner!

I have to force myself to stop using this machine...it is quite effective and the workouts look deceivingly easy...I stopped working out a few years ago, and for the first time in a long time I am excited about exercising...it's fun...I've had it for 8 days and I can already feel and see a difference...as a diabetic and lots of pain in my lower back, this is perfect to use at my own pace with no pressure...the wide variety of exercises make it so much better...it comes with all the accessories and 5 DVD workouts, plus a nutrition and recipe book...exceptional machine especially for the price...a must buy if you hate crowds and gyms...

The set up was a breeze, and the videos are so helpful. (YouTube and Total Direct TV have even more, for free!) If you have doubts that these machines are as good as the infomercials, they are even better. This one machine will provide cardio, strength, and flexibility training. I've worked out at the gym for years, and I honestly think I get as good a workout with results that show. As with any exercise program, you get more out of it if you challenge yourself.

Love it! Comes assembled, easy to switch attachments and difficulty level. My teenage son was amazed that basically everything he can do on the equipment at the gym, he is able to do on the total gym. In the time it takes to drive to and from the gym, we can be done. And we can watch whatever we want on netflix while we exercise. The DVDs are great. There are so many different exercises, we started with the ones on the basic video and are building from there. It also comes with meal plans and a wall chart of exercises for easy reference. We marked the ones we have learned so far with a dry erase marker.

I had previously owned an earlier Total Gym Model (QVC) that I acquired about 15 years ago, but gave away asa result of a family move when space was limited. This is unquestionably a great value because of all the attachmentsthat are included.My Fusion was actually delivered in one day and everything was neatly packed in one box. The packaging was very wellthought out and I found the directions for assembly to be adequate. There was one quality control issue that fell short and thus only 4 instead of 5 stars for my review. When I attempted to install the two step plates onto the crossbarthat slides into the frame at bottom or foot, the pre-drilled holes in the metal angle iron did not line up with the threaded holes in the crossbar. They provided all the machine screws and even a wrench, but I had to drill out the holes in each of the angle iron straps attached to the steps in order to seat the machine screws and properly attach the two step plates.In summary, I would buy again and love the exercise machine. It is a tremendous value. Just be prepared to possibly have to overcome the quality control issue described in this review.

Waste of money

This total gym replaced my old gym which I sold several years ago. I really missed the workout that the gym provided, so I purchased this new one. I did replace the handles with the crome handles for $54.96. These crome handles are like the ones on my old gym and make the workout much more comfortable. This gym gives me a complete workout! It is very well built and a great buy. I can workout in the privacy of my home. Love it!!!!!!!!!!

So many parts to add to the basic part. So complicated to set up.Unfortunately foot platform assembly - holes do not line up.
