Don't use on perineal wounds
I used this after giving birth to my son. I had stitches from an episiotomy and whilst I was under the impression on the description of this product it would help to relieve the pain down there, it actually promoted an infection in my wound. This has lead to all sorts of issues and my midwife has even said it's not to be used on open and fresh wounds as it keeps the area wet and warm... perfect for bugs. This isn't clear on the bottle even though product reps of the company have advised healthcare professionals it shouldn't be used in the early stages of perineal wounds.

Avoid if you’ve had stitches
I read all these lovely comments hyping this product up so I though this would be perfect for me when Postpartum. When I’m the hospital I even showed it to the student midwife and experienced midwife and they said it would help so much so I thought I had the go ahead to use. However once getting back home and having used this religiously after every visit to the bath room as it did help relieve the pain a little, however that all soon changed as I found that on day 14 I had an infection and I could think why as I did everything possible to keep down there clean. I even bought this product for a friend that had just given birth too, and then when she told me she’s also got an infection i put two and two together and realised it must have been this product. Fast forward, I went back to this site and read all the 1 star reviews and most of them were saying not to use if you’ve had stitches as this product dissolves them and that you shouldn’t use at all up to 6 days postpartum…. Be very careful mammies! Simply giving 1 star as I got an infection off something that I thought would have helped but turned out making my life miserable off the pain and completely wasted my money!!

I so wanted this to work...
I brought this when I had my first baby. I tore and had an episiotomy I came across this on Instagram before having the baby and decided I’d try it out. Fast forward to postpartum recovery I sprayed and used this many times hoping to get different results the longer I used it. Bottom line is it didn’t work for me, in fact it stung more than it soothed down there but I so wanted it to work but it didn’t. It didn’t help with healing either I took 2-3 months to fully recover so it’s a no from me...

This did not smell like lavender, in fact why its even scented at all is beyond me , when you're trying to relieve your bits I'm sorry but the last thing you want is a recipe for thrush ! But it smelt like bin juice, I didn't get round to using it more than once as I was terrified my flaps would end up stinking of contents of this bottle ! Is there a date on these things ? Maybe mine was out of date and I got unlucky on my purchase. Regardless make it scent free

Don’t waste your money
Not worth it at all, I brought it as iv heard many things about it…I’m not able to send it back of course but best believe I would if I could. It’s practically water and does nothing and iv been incredibly sore down below. Dont bother.
