AFM/DFM Disabler, Auto Start/Stop Disabler and Scan Tool for GM Cars and Trucks

So far works as described.

I does exactly what it is supposed to do. It was easy to set up. I installed it on a 2022 silverado ltz with a10 speed transmission 5.3 liter motor. It runs smoother than it ever has. The transmission is smoother too. I guess the truck is not fighting itself to figure out what gear it needs for how many cylinders it is using. I had to learn how to drive it again, it has so much power. The stop and go is locked out. You have ability to turn both features on and off in the app. the stop/go and and the fuel management. I emailed customer service with some questions, about the lights and battery drain. They where very prompt and curious, with their help. They assured me it shuts off after a short time of not running. It is Quality product, not a quirky piece of junk. The bad news: Gas milage dropped by 3 mpg around town and 2mpg on the interstate. My mileage gage, looks like a scoreboard counting down at a ball game, it counts down so quick at a drive through. Just a wild guess, but you could burn a 1/4 of a gallon of gas waiting on a Big Mac. Or so it seems. I pulled my 9000 pound camper and got about the same as always 9 mpg. I love the way the truck runs, but I am not sure I can afford it. My neighbor is a mechanic and he said, I can pay a little at a time now or plan on paying a lot for motor repairs/replacement in the near future. He paid a lot more than I did, to get his older chevy reprogrammed to lock out fuel management. I am keeping it. I need the truck to last.

this product was suppose to fit in my year truck,clearly stated this in the pictures of the product,after i received it and plugged it in it says not compatible with vehicle and now the seller wont respond to any emails and i have no way of contacting them,so im out $250 .Do not buy this product unless your willing to lose ur money

I have a 2024 GMC Sierra with a 6.2. This works flawlessly, turns off stop/star and keeps the engine in 8 cylinder mode. I can tell the difference in the way the truck runs, seems to be more responsive without a big change in gas milage. It's a plug and play devise, and has an app you can use to track your engine.

This is the best disabler you can get for the GMC refresh model, 2022.5 to 2026 6.2L v8 models. This disables both the DFM system and disables auto/stop. The app is easy to use and it has a very small footprint compared to other disablers on the market. Customer service is excellent, I emailed customer support and they got back to me within hours. This is an important tip. If your truck comes with a tracking system from the dealership like mine did, when that comes on randomly it will override the disabler and the auto stop will suddenly stop the engine at a red light. If you look behind the OBD port you will see a splitter that is plugged in to the device. I unplugged mine and now the carbyte never gets turned off from the GPS tracker. My truck came with this prescription free for 1 year but I don’t need it because the GMC app does pretty much the same thing for free. If you are on the fence about this buy it, you will not be disappointed.
