I was tired of the inconvenience of a folding step stool, which I use probably a dozen times a day in my kitchen (short girl/high cabinets). I had another library stool on my list for a long time, but when I finally decided to treat myself it had doubled in price. I was so disappointed, but came across this one in my favorite color. Lots of good reviews, and it has a much higher weight limit than the other which, I don't know, maybe means it's stronger? Comes in 2 parts that snapped together easily, rolls smoothly, feels very sturdy, and did I mention, it's my favorite color! It makes me happy every time I see it!

Great, and VERY sturdy step stool...I’m a heavy guy, and I can use this without worry of it tipping or not supporting my weight (unlike my old step ladder that probably cannot hold my weight safely anymore). The caster wheels are high quality, and go down automatically when you step on the stool (so there is zero chance they’ll slip.

Oh for you who remember the card catalog in the library, this will take you back to those days when you would see these stools all around the library giving access to higher shelves. This stool is so convenient. Being "vertically challenged" I need a stool to get to the top shelf in the linen closet, top shelf in the kitchen and this is the best tool I can use when hanging rods and curtains. The roll and stop action is great and it's just tall enough to add enough height to reach out of reach places, then I just roll it to the corner behind one of the french doors in the dining room and it's out of sight. Comes out of the box ready to use, what could be easier!

I have wanted one of these for many years. I remember them from the library when I was a kid. I am short so I constantly find things out of my reach. I love yellow, so when I looked for a stool and they had this in yellow, I ordered it. I nudge it to roll it where I need it and it provides a stable surface to reach up. Another advantage is that it is taller than a lot of other household stools.

I needed a stool to store in my drop zone for sitting on to put on shoes and also for the higher kitchen and pantry shelves. This stool is a winner. I haven't even moved it to my new home yet. It has been my constant companion as I clean out my present home for our upcoming move. When you are height challenged as I am you can appreciate an easy to handle (kick roll it) stool that adds 17" to your reach in 2 easy steps. It clamps to the floor with your weight so it is very secure if you are older like me.

I didn't apply for a return in time. I assumed the unit would be in working order, unfortunately it's missing a part. Hopefully I will be able to exchange with the vendor.

This is great! Very well made. Love the color. I can't lose it in my big house - the color is like a beacon.

Rolls well. Can be used with or without the top piece, but once you plug the top piece in, it's a battle to get it off. Perfect for the garage to getting way up on some racks, into cabinets, or taking tires off the wall.

This banana yellow totally rocks in my brand new grey and white kitchen. Great to sit or stand on sturdy and attractive. Came quickly and was exactly as ordered. I use it to slide around and save my tired back and also kids like to slide around on it and it does not damage my porcelain tiles as it has rubber wheels. It reminds me of the library stools only it is taller. I totally recommend this handy item for kitchens! Great seller!
