VIZIO D-Series 50” (49.5" Diag.) Ultra HD Full-Array LED Smart TV

unboxed tv hooked it up in the bedroom powered up, followed onscreen instruction , then got to the internet system. i figured that i would have to do a lot of stuff to get it to work, but i just had to put in my wi-fi password and everything came to life. love it right now and hope for a long service life

I screwed the mounting legs on before I decided to get a base mount. Now I cant get the legs off.

I purchased the refurbished version. Still came packaged “like new”. Clean, impeccable, and with plastic protection on screen.

I bought this tv in 2017. Reasonably priced and had decent reviews. After 6 years still going strong. A few minor issues but still working very well. I'm satisfied.

I have owned 4 vizio TVs. My first was a 50" purchased 5plus years ago. I gave it to my daughter's family when I bought an E series 60" Vizio about 3years ago. Both still work fine. I bought this D50-E1 Nov 2017. Only complaints is wifi takes a few days to reconnect after even a short power snap. Oddly, when I had to reset my router today, I figured this Vizio would be disconnected a few days but no, it reconnected automatically. My 60" HD E series still works fine. The experience of most Vizio owners is they last for years. Sudden black screens is usually caused by a power surge. I have surge protecters for all my appliances, microwave, TVs, refrigerators, etc. They last much longer with surge protectors, especially nowadays that we have several power snaps & surges a year. My other complaint is Vizio, like most brands, install limited Smart TV systems. The Smart TV of this model surprised me. It easily does 4K. But cannot do mirror casting, except for the few apps that have it built in. An inexpensive Roku Stick plugged into an HDMI port marked "Best " gives the best available Smart TV. TCL smart TV is Roku TV but Vizio TVs last much longer than a TCL.

I have never done a review but I feel I must here. You can not manually update this tv. I have had this tv now for 8 months. Waiting for Apple TV and airplay to be supported. Support came out in September. Unfortunately, this tv will not be supported for this technology. So NO Apple TV or airplay. Good looking 4K tv but worthless to me now. I am gonna sell it and buy something else. Never again will I own a Visio. Buyer beware.

I spent months trying to determine the best in my price range of 4k tvs but made a big blunder choosing Vizio. Nice tv until the back lights start flickering because of poor quality voltage regulator circuits , don't buy this brand it is notorious for pic problems. I would have given it less stars if I could. Don't worry about customer service, they don't answer emails. They just want to sell you more vizio products.

Hace algunos meses ya que compré la TV y no he tenido ningún problema.Estoy satisfecho con la calidad de la imagen y las apps que trae integradas, así como la responsividad de la interfaz.Apps como Netflix se pueden ver sin problema y sin lag.Mi único inconveniente es la calidad del sonido que no es muy buena y a veces me cuesta entender lo que dicen las personas en la pantalla. Sin embargo por el precio creo que es justificable.En general estoy satisfecho y la recomiendo.

I am very happy with this TV. The picture is really good and crystal clear. It is a smart TV, and we use Netflix on it a lot - the picture is excellent. My only small disappointment is that the sound is not as good as I had expected. We have another Vizio TV in the house with much better sounding audio. The audio on this TV is almost like "sound from a tin can". I have tried to modify the audio settings, but I am not able to do it. Now, it is certainly possible that I am just not able to operate the TV properly, and I hope that one day I will figure a way to change the audio to make it sound better.

Esta bien por costo es de gran tamaño se ve nitido.Además es ultra hd. Lo malo no tiene la app de cinépolis klic

Muy buena TV y a muy buen precio. El problema que el software de opciones de streamming que trae instalado cuenta con opciones muy poco reconocidas en México, salvo Netflix, Amazon y Youtube. No tiene otras apps como el de las ligas mayores de beisbol, nba o crunchyroll. Traté de buscar si hay manera de actualizar el software o instalarle más apps de stream y nada. Voy a tener que hacer un gasto extra por un chromecast o un roku.

Menos de 8mil me parecio opcion. No me arrepiento. Cumple. Algo a mejorar es el smart. Un poco lento. Excelente para un xbox one s. Repito. Para el precio estuvo excelente. Esta al nivel de una hisense. Tengo samsung hisense y vizio. Lejos la samsung. Pero las otras 2 son economicas y buenas alternativas.
