Great solar system project!
This is an excellent project/craft! I bought 3 of them, so that each of my kids could do their own to go along with our Science unit. Ages 8-12, and they painted and assembled them on their own, and enjoyed the process. Finished project is not bulky, easily sits on a shelf, dresser, or end table…. and doesn’t have to hang from the ceiling or involve crumbly styrofoam, like many sets do.

A great safe first model for your kids
Get your kids into astronomy early, with this picturesque mobile of the solar system. Fun and easy to paint and piece together and lots of ready available facts for your kid to learn about the universe around them. It's also a great visual as it demonstrates how the planets around us actually do move.

Love this Glow-In-The-Dark Solar System Kit!
This National Geographic Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System Kit is amazing! My children are homeschooled and in 2nd grade and have been learning about our Solar System. One of their hands-on projects was to put a kit like this together. The price was perfect for the budget and it was so much fun creating this with them. The fact that it glows in the dark was an added bonus. I highly recommend!

My Great Granddaughter loved it!
Fun for kids to paint the planets and attach the planets to their solar system stand. Also educational poster included for the kids to refer to while painting the planets. Reason for only four stars is the planets and Sun are very small. Also initially first set received was missing the main piece to attach to the stand. However once I returned it the second set was fine. Perfect size for decorating a 5 year old birthday cake. Only real negative is the size of the planets.

This is a must get for your little ones. It's fun to build together and it actually glows in the dark! 100% recommend for summer activities, or birthday gifts.
