Bees Seeds - Butterfly Mat Biodegradable Seed Carpet

Firstly, the mat is biodegradable so dont matter what way up it is.I prepaired the soil the mats were to go on 'hard clay' hard work soil, so that no stones were pertruding causing damage to the mats.I then thoroughly wet the soil, i then laid the mats on top of this. 'Dont try this on a windy day like i did'.....cos im stupid.I then covered the lot, ie 1 bee mat, 1 butterfly mat and 1 wild flower mat, with 2 bags of compost, and have kept that watered this past 7 days. Happy to say that im starting to see life already, even with rubbish soil like mine....., I guess its all in the prep, take your time.see photosWill update as the season goes on.

I can vouch for this product. Bought this last year and Wow!!!! Had the most amazing array of different plants and just kept growing. In fact I’ve got some flowering again right now, and if you don’t mind self seeding I have loads appearing all over the show...

Product arrived sooner than expected but that's all the good news. Followed instructions to the letter but the mat has so far produced three straggly weeds and a smattering of grass. I would not buy this product again and do not recommend it.

Great. Love that it is a mat so easy to place where you want.

Only 3 stars as I have only just laid the mat and obviously not had time to grow yet. I might review again when any growth has taken place.

...the flower mat arrived quicker than expected and my mum has put down in the garden, some shoots have started coming through but too early to see yet what they are - but also think the birds liked it - even though covered with compost - so need a cat to guard this :) thank you for sending so fast

Absolutely loved it, just hope the Turf mound grows. Lots of seeds and happiness spread.
