Best Griddle I've Ever Owned or Used!!!
I've always had good luck with the Presto Brand, so when I wanted a new Griddle I had no hesitation checking out their lineup. I always do a decent amount of searching and research on a product I plan on getting a lot of use out of. When I saw this Griddle Version, I liked what the description said. Even though I like the Presto Brand, a lot of Great Brand Names just don't seem to be what they used to be. So I didn't take nothing for granted even though I was hoping what was written was true. Full of nice features like removable handles, large size for when you have family visiting but what I really appreciated was the NO STICK SURFACE! A lot claim no stick but you still end up using something to help out in that department like melted butter or there's still some sticking. I purposefully waited to write a review till I had multiple times to use the Griddle and then could give a true account of how it worked for me. So far so GREAT! The size saves a lot of time Grilling, and to my relief, the NON STICK SURFACE has been exactly that! I do not use anything to help it and pancakes or french toast don't stick. The surface is covered by a ton of mini bumps and they work great. Because of the handles are removable and non stick surface, CLEAN UP IS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE. All this and the quality of everything seems very well made, and I'm looking to get many years of use from it. So far I have no negatives to tell about, at least nothing that I have found. Just a great product that I wouldn't hesitate to suggest to anyone to buy.

Even better than my last Presto griddle
I had the Presto 07039 22-Inch Electric Griddle for 5 years, but the nonstick surface was starting to wear off from frequent use, so I was in the market for a replacement. Having had a Presto already, I knew it did a decent job of cooking evenly, had a good nonstick surface, and was affordably priced. I was hoping to find one that would be a little easier to clean, and debated between a couple of dishwasher-safe options, but settled on the Presto 07061 22-inch Electric Griddle with Removable Handles for its removable handles. The problem with all the dishwasher-safe options is that they were big and bulky - by design since the heating element had to be separate from the cooking surface. I am please to report that I am happy with my choice. The large 22" cooking surface has excellent nonstick properties; I prefer it over my previous Presto griddle which didn't have the same texture. I made an egg (with no oil) and the non-stick was so good that the edges of the egg actually curled up and away from the surface on their own. No sticking whatsoever. I was a bit worried that the handles might be loose, making the griddle wiggly, but I'm happy to report that is not the case. In fact, I can't tell that they are removable handles at all when moving the griddle around. It's very solid, with nice little rubber grippies on the bottom of the legs - something my previous Presto did not have. And the handles are very simple to remove. Each of the four legs has a tight spring latch that secures the handles in place. You can easily remove the handles in seconds and store the cooking surface in the same cupboard as your pizza pans! The shape of the cooking surface is also more convenient to clean than my last Presto. This one is flat, with an opening in the rim where the grease tray resides. You can wipe the surface straight off the edge of the griddle into the grease tray or a sink/garbage. My previous Presto just had a small hole that grease was supposed to drain through, and you had to wipe any larger pieces up and over the rim. Also, the grease tray on this model has two small catches that prevent it from sliding open too easily. My last Presto had no such mechanism, and the tray actually slid out while I was in the process of moving it and broke when it hit the floor. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I'm sure there are other great griddle options out there with more bells and whistles, but this one does the job and is both affordable and convenient.

Breakfast game changer
The Presto 22-Inch Electric Griddle is fantastic. It heats evenly across the entire surface, cooks pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns perfectly every time. The nonstick surface cleans up easily, and the temperature control is accurate. Huge capacity for family breakfasts. This thing gets used multiple times a week!

Works Well but Has Typical Hot Spots to Watch
This griddle works well overall and performs as expected for this type of appliance. It heats up quickly and browns food nicely, which makes it great for cooking a variety of items. Like most electric griddles, there are some hot spots, so you do need to watch placement while cooking. Temperature control is fairly typical and takes a little adjustment to get consistent results, especially since it heats up quickly and can run hotter than expected at first. The unit feels stable when the handles are properly secured, and overall construction is solid for regular use. What I like: Heats up quickly Browns food well Good size for cooking Solid construction when assembled properly Things to be aware of: Has some hot spots Temperature can run hot and takes getting used to Overall: This is a good, reliable electric griddle that works well once you understand how it heats. You do need to pay attention while cooking to manage the hot spots, but overall it performs as expected and is a solid option for everyday use.

Great buy
I didn’t expect to love the Presto Ceramic Grill as much as I do, but it has honestly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances—especially for quick, healthy meals. First, the ceramic nonstick surface is a huge win. Food doesn’t stick at all, which means I can cook with little to no oil—perfect for keeping things lighter and healthier. Cleanup is incredibly easy too. Most of the time, I just wipe it down with a paper towel and I’m done. The heat distribution is even, which I didn’t expect from a smaller countertop grill. Chicken, burgers, grilled veggies—even sandwiches—cook evenly without hot spots. It heats up quickly, so it’s ideal when I need to get dinner on the table fast. I also really like the compact size. It doesn’t take up much counter space and is easy to store, but it still fits enough food for a small family meal.

Look no further! Removable legs are a HUGE PLUS!
I own a small deli inside a commercial building park and bought this to replace a same sized ceramic griddle that I purchased at Target. Why did I buy another griddle? 1. ceramic becomes very difficult to clean if you use any sugared ingredients such as BARBEQUE sauce! I even tried professional griddle cleaner solutions and I still had a horrific brown ring (which was around the shape of the heating element underneath) 2. Cleaning ceramic was a youknowhwat! 3. Grease trap was too small and difficult to drain incurring cost of hot oil gloves which are professionally sized for The Hulk My "heavy duty" use: -I use this griddle at least 3 times a week. -I cook all my chicken breasts, bacon, seared meats, eggs, patty melts, etc with great success. What I love about this unit (after 15 uses): 1. The legs are easily removable! This means that I can detach the power supply, detach the legs on each side and run the whole unit (even coated in bacon fat) under our hot water tap for a few minutes and it's all clean. I have NOT HAD TO SCRUB this unit, yet!!!! While running my super hot tap water over the griddle unit, I clean both "legs" in our hot soap water bath. For someone who has to clean so much everyday in the deli, this minimal cleanup is a HUGE bonus! 2. Grease trap: While this grease/oil trap doesn't necessarily hold any more than any other brand, the front lip on it allows it to be safely removed without having to wear heat proof gloves to drain. THIS IS A HUGE THING! especially when cooking up to 40 pieces of bacon a day! With my previous $60 ceramic unit, I had to put on the safety gloves and couldn't move more than 8" or so when trying to dump the super hot grease (mostly because the other grease trap/tray was more wide and shallow than this one and had a very small hand grip on the front. 3. Crosshatch ridges on surface are weird at first but I've not had any problems. The texture of the griddle plate is odd but I've not had issue. I've used it many times to cook chicken breasts, bacon and have even been able to "cook" breaded goat cheese slices with NO PROBLEMS!!!! I've had no problem using my plastic spatula across this slightly gridded surface to scoop off excess oil or food bits into the grease tray. do note that my cooking utensils are heavy duty, restaurant supply grade so I can't speak for plain jane spatulas or such. 4. holy crap, are the removable legs such a bonus and a must for me! Once the unit has cooled down, I just detach the legs, put the legs in our hot soapy water bath and run off the excess grease on the grill pan from our hot water spout. I make sure to dry the legs after washing to make sure no rust occurs though I don't think they would. That's just how we do things in a restaurant business. What's Missing: I honestly have no complaints but if I was the engineer on this project, I would include the ability to adjust the height of any of the four "legs". This is my issue because the stainless steel surfaces in our deli are very old so when I use it in it's regular spot in my deli, the oil runs towards the back and not toward the grease drain in the front. Again, this is my issue and not the product. Yes, I could add risers to both the bottom feet but to be honest, it's best I don't as it keeps me cognizant of how much grease is being produced and how often I need to empty the grease tray. Again, this may sound like a negative but with using the other ceramic unit for several units, it became "out of sight, out of mind" so this is actually a plus for me. With my old unit, I can't tell you how many times the grease tray overfilled and I wasn't aware of it until I saw or heard the dripping and that was such a MESS!!!! CLEANING: Remove the bits and just run the full plate under hot water for a bit, then use your scrub brush (non-stick approved) and your done! Give the legs a decent wash with soapy hot water. let dry. So easy and I can't make you understand how much the ease of clean with this unit is so important. It makes all the difference! HEATING RANGE: 1.OKAY,so the heating is more intense from the direction of the heating attachment than towards the end of the heating coil underneath. However, it does not detract more than any other unit I have used, even the $20 more ceramic unit I had purchased. With bacon, it's a non issue as once you flip, the less heated side gets the more heated side. When it comes to chicken breasts, you learn to place the thicker portion of meat on top of the coil underneath with the thinner end of the breast towards the middle where there is no heat coil. With this unit, I haven't had to adjust my cooking style at all compared to the more expensive ceramic version. OVERALL: I just couldn't imagine how you would be disappointed in this unit. Again, I'm using it in a professional kitchen and it very much exceeded expectations. I don't expect to have to replace it for years!

So good, I bought 2!
I purchased the previous version of this griddle about six years ago, and it's been one of the hardest working appliances in my kitchen ever since. We use it at least once a week for everything from pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches to hash browns and quesadillas. When we recently bought a travel trailer, I brought the griddle along for camping to make pancakes, warm hot dogs, crisp up hash browns, and cook easy breakfasts. That's when I realized I didn't want to keep packing it back and forth between the house and the trailer. It had earned a permanent spot in the camper, so I ordered a second one for home. This appears to be the updated version of the model I already own, and I'm happy to say it's just as great. Despite its XL size, it heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly across the cooking surface, making it easy to cook multiple servings at once without worrying about hot spots. The built-in handles make it sturdy and easy to move around the countertop, which I really appreciate given its size. At 22 inches long, it does take up a fair amount of storage space, but for our family, it's absolutely worth it because we use it so often. I also really like the texture on the non stick surface which is not on the older model. I think it really helps make it extra non stick! After getting six years of reliable, weekly use out of my original griddle, I had no hesitation buying this updated model. It's one of those kitchen appliances that truly earns its place.

This is the griddle of my dreams
Absolutely love this griddle. It has the most consistent, evenly spread heat of any griddle I’ve ever owned. Love the ability to quickly take it apart and clean the entire cooking surface in the sink without worrying about ruining the electric components. Worth every penny.

I wish I had had this exact griddle years ago, but doubt it was avalable then. FABULOUS item.
Of all the griddles K have ever owned, this is far and away the best. I recommend this 100% with one caveat: this thing is big!! I have deep cabinet drawers in the kitchen, and it fits fine (with the handles removed, which is easy to do) but otherwise, you will need to keep it on the counter. I did not really believe the ads about non-stick with no Pam or butter, but I needed a new griddle and bought this one for the longer size. BUT!!! It IS NON-STICK I can slide a pancake or fried egg while cooking, with no utensils under them, using no grease of any kind. Astounding. It also holds a large amount of goodies. We can do 8 large (not smashed, just regular large) hamburgers or turkey burgers at the same time. Also, at least 15 good-sized Italian sausages, and ½ dozen grilled cheese sandwiches. It is also wonderful for making egg foo young, as it goes up to a high enough temperature to make them sizzle, using only a tiny bit of peanut or grape-seed oil for the sizzle and browning. I would recommend this to anyone, with great enthusiasm.

110V selling to KSA?
I like everything about this griddle except that I can’t use it. Why would Amazon SA sell a product that can’t be plugged in without exploding?
