Works nicely but...
I built a pallet wood floor in my shed office conversion (kiln dried pallets) and used this dark walnut filler to fill in all the drill holes I made for the brad nails. Stained it with water based dark walnut from Littlefairs. Varnished with a few coats of satin wood varnish from Lakeland. End result is impressive but when the wood contracts/expands it has pushed the filler out very slightly in places but theres nothing that can be done about that, it's the nature of wood. Still very flat and am very happy.

Amazing! Easy to use and a perfect colour match.
This small jar of filler was perfect. I had a dent in the front of our upright piano. A tiny amount of this putty-like substance was all that was needed to fill and smooth over the dent. The colour match was perfect, and this filler comes in a wide range of colours so do ensure to get the one closest to your needs. I only needed to oil the wood once the putty was dry and the repaired area disappeared completely. I have used this product now on a few different bumps and dents in furniture and it is a joy to use every time. I just wish the walnut colour was available in a smaller size, as 250g is still much more than I will ever use.

It dries white
I ordered antique oak, it dries white which is useless on a medium oak floor. I have marked it low value for money as I can't use it the colour is wrong. Other than it is fine if you want white wood filler

Water based wood filler
Osmo wood filler is so much easier to use for repairing flaws in stripped pine wood than Everbuild or Ronseal fillers. Smooth, clean up smears with damp cloth, sand back when dry and re-varnish or stain. It also claims to last forever in the tub, but I had to add a drop of water to an older tub of walnut filler as it was very crumbly after 2 years.

Order darker as it dries lighter.
I have an old but just sanded and oiled oak floor and, because you can't take colour out but the product says it can be stained, I ordered mid oak. In the pot it looks similar but when dry it comes up very light almost cream. I would order a shade darker another time. It does sand well.

Very good quality but expensive
I loved using this filler, it's very smooth, goes on extremely easily and sticks well. It dries to an excellent smooth finish that's a joy to sand and paint. The only criticism I could level is that it's really rather expensive for the quantity you get, but if you've got a small job to do where quality and finish really matter, go for it!

Much lighter than expected
Goes on very well but tried very, very light - almost white in fact. Was able to correct this with a selection of coloured pencils. No sign of cracking after about a month.

Easy to use but colour not good
This is a good, albeit rather expensive filler. However, the walnut colour is wrong - too red and more akin to a mahogany coloured wood.
