Well worth a buy!
So, like most in the reviews here, I bought in search of replicating Costa’s spiced apple drink. Personally, I think it tastes nothing like it.HOWEVER, I almost prefer this. It’s absolutely delicious. There is so much flavour, and once you figure out your own preference, the sweetness is perfect. For me, I use nowhere near the recommended 30ml of syrup to ~ 240ml of water. It’s far too sweet for me. I’d say I use 20ml syrup per cup at most. It takes a bit of playing around to get right, but when you do, it’s well worth it.Many others in the reviews have mentioned adding star anise and cinnamon sticks to the drink. It definitely adds more flavour to the drink, but it doesn’t make a HUGE difference. To me, anyway.All in all, the price point is perfect, the drink tastes great, and you should buy this. Do it. You know you want to!

Winter warming treat.
With costas missing the hot spiced Apple off their winter drinks again, I've been looking high and low to find a replacement source.I simply add some cinnamon sticks and star anise to give it that final punch.This drink really does slip down a treat.Shall definitely be stocking up on more soon!

Not nice went down the sink
As with lots of the reviews I love the Costa spiced apple - this is nowhere near that. It has a chemical taste and no matter the experimenting with amounts I could not get anything to resemble something which I could enjoy so much so it went in the bin. Maybe I had high hopes and if you are not trying to achieve the Costa drink it may be ok but not my thing.Tea pigs do a nice tea which is closer and pleasant but still not the lovely Costa drink will just have to hope they being it out again this year!!!

great winter warmer
based on some of the reviews I wasn't expecting much but was really missing the Costa spiced apple drink. I'm actually really impressed. You need to make it significantly weaker than the serving suggestion suggests (otherwise it is too sweet) and if you stick in some star anise and a stick of cinnamon, it's not that far off at all. Will definitely repurchase

Clotts in coffee, not nice experience
Maybe it's me but I find this syrup clotted when added to coffee. Not a nice experience drinking coffee with lumps in it.The product description says it can be used in coffee so if anyone knows how please let me know.Am I missing something here?

Delicious!
I just added a dash of this to some red wine and heated it in the microwave for a delicious, quick mulled wine. Similar taste to what you'd buy at a Christmas market. Lovely sweet mulled wine flavour. I've not actually tried with only hot water as it's essentially just like a squash but I enjoyed it with red wine. Also a long shelf life so should be good till next Christmas. Highly recommend as I really enjoyed it.

Sweet but not very fruity - brown colured
We bought this instead of the no-longer-maze bottle green spiced Berry cordial. Unfortunately, this is nowhere near so nice! Very sweet fairly strong cinnamon little fruit may try adding Ribena. Won't buy again.

Winter warming !
Very nice flavour not too sweet and if add a slice of orange and cinnamon stick gives it a little extra Oomph! Little pricey for a posh squash! But a nice treat if fed up with the usual hot drinks. Used the recommended 30ml in a latte glass.
