Absolutely love this product. I was under the impression I would need to keep it in the fridge to keep it cold but that’s not true. It stays cool even when you leave it on your nightstand. The cooling mixed with the pressure has been perfect for my migraines and headaches. Feels like someone is squeezing your head in the best way, which is great during a nasty migraine.It stayed in place all night and is the perfect size for my head. It has been holding up well. I’ve been using it for a few months and really enjoying it.

This is a wonderful product, even my husband who doesn’t get headaches/migraines steals it from me. I find the freezer temp is too cold so I just put it into the refrigerator instead. It is so relaxing and comforting, I love this product and thank you for it.

After two brain surgeries this is essential to me. I had to get for daily usage instead of relying on otcmedications to relieve my headaches. I get any where from 2/10 -8/10 headaches and get immediate relief from them the lighter the headache the faster it goes away but even tougher headaches improve dramatically with the use of this cap. I like keeping it in the freezer to get that really cool effect but I think refrigeration could be enough depending on your situation and tolerance of cold level. Great quality freezing pretty quickly. I keep mines in the ziplock bag to prevent it from smelling like my freezer foods works every time. Get it! If it works for me it will work for you.

I’ve purchased this cooling cap twice because I use it so often. It’s great for headaches and for cooling down during middle-of-the-night hot flashes. One of my favorite things is that it stays cool enough at room temperature, so I don’t have to keep it in the refrigerator. If you want extra cooling, you can refrigerate it for an even stronger effect.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that this version feels a little tighter and less comfortable across the top than the original one I purchased. I originally bought a second one because I thought my first had stretched out, but I think the design may have changed. Even so, it’s still a product I reach for regularly and would recommend.

my husband gets severe migraines a few times a month and this has helped him sleep through them, immensely! we always keep it in the fridge in a ziploc bag and it stays cool on his head for a while! he just slides this over his head and the coolness, tightness, and dark help ease his migraines enough to go to sleep.. just keep in mind: this obviously isnt going to cure migraines, this product is purely to help you get through it easier and it does exactly that!

I absolutely love this product… I keep it in the freezer and then I take it out. I leave it out for about three or four minutes because it is freezing cold and talk about brain freeze!? But I have had to lay off taking any medication because I’ve got other things going on and my migraines don’t respond to that lol… But they do respond to this.However… I just moved from one place to another and I have moved with these items four times in the last six years lol not fun for someone who’s chronically ill… And I take them to the next place and they’re fine… If I really need to clean my hand to clean them. I have put them in the dishwasher before… Don’t put them in the laundry. They get all bald up and they don’t work anymore.But back to the however… So I haven’t done anything different at all. I arrive at my mother’s this weekend. I’m gonna be here for a while… Real fun when you’re 58… So I put them in the freezer and she has a normal freezer and I have other things in there and they are normal smelling and I have the beanbag eye packs. You know that are cold and I love those also!So I have a horrible migraine today I go immediately to get the cap and the beanbag one for my eyes…. I put the cap on and then I put the beanbag over my eyes… Because it’s that bad.And I got this really funny smell and I thought you don’t back at my mom’s. I haven’t been here in a while… I thought something is burning or there’s something smell like chemical or maybe there’s a cord burning or something very faintSo I’m in pain and that smell is not helping my headache… And I am searching the room… I call my mom up. I call my stepdad up. I’m like what and they smell it as soon as I enter the room it’s like not gasoline but like some sort of that kind of smell like I don’t know what ethanol smell smells like gasoline but something chemical something …So couldn’t figure it out so I go back to Charlie down in the smell is still there so I go into the other bedroom OK I’ll lay in here… Because we’ve been in there and there’s no smell … I go in there. It stinks my headache is getting worse.I’m smelling my clothes myself lol… it’s the cap. And I didn’t do anything different at all 100% everything the same put them in the same thing I travel with once I got here put them in a decent good smelling new freezer..Two days ago that’s when I did that… Get up to today horrible migraine going immediately to grab them and there’s a smell and it permeates the room.So I give them to my mom so she’s handwashing them and possibly going to be putting them in the dishwasher… But they have never ever done that before and they’re all fairly new within the last year… I don’t know what it is and I don’t know what happened to to make it do that.It’s not just these caps so these caps I think what they neoprene or scuba stuff or something? I don’t know. I can’t look right now… But I bought just an eye mask that has on one side that neoprene or whatever and on the other side is silky so once you’ve cooled your head at night, you could switch it to the silky side and go to sleepSo I went to grab that one cause it was in the freezer in my head is freaking out… And the side with that same material is the cap? Smell the same way… Weird like none of us can identify exactly..It’s a great product! And normally this never happens and if anyone reads this and knows what I’m talking about could you please tell me? Because I need to buy more lol because they work… If I like if I’ve gone through them and they’re warm and they’re not cold and I don’t have my migraine medication that hurts my blood vessels and then even if I don’t have any pain pills and it’s horrible?I feel the sink with really cold water and I dump all the ice in it that I can’t and then I take a deep breath, and I dunk my face in it as long as I can then bring it up and take a breath.And I repeat that about five times… And it will shock your system enough to constrict those blood vessels if you’re out of that kind of medication and you take it for your migraines. That’s when you really are in Dire Straits… The other thing when you’re really in a bad position and you don’t have these things with you… I have had to get up at 4 o’clock in the morning… I’m a woman this may not happen with men… And wash my hair. It was the only thing that would get rid of it and it got rid of it every time… And I’m wash my hair fairly often, but it just got kinked a little bit somewhere and kept pulling on my very sensitive scalp and my occipital nerve!And 123 bingo… Migraine.Ugh.
