Akashi Tai Ginjo Yuzushu Sake 50 cl

An interesting drink if you like citrus and experimenting. As with any food or drink, very much a matter of personal taste. Would give 3.5 stars if possible. Citrus taste is very sharp though neither too sweet nor syrupy, and after the first surprise quite interesting, there is little sake flavour. This drink also feels quite strong in terms of alcohol content in spite of the fruity flavour. Will overwhelm mild food but found it very good with strongly flavoured stir fry dishes. Compared with other sake, price was okay. Will return to non-flavoured sake after this because we prefer the grassy notes and scent of non-flavoured sake; don't regret trying this though. Edit: This stuff sort of grew on us; I'll buy another bottle though it is pricey for the quantity; on the other hand it'll last because one or two small sake cups of this with a meal will do. Just don't expect the typical grassy sake flavour. Getting the hang of this and buying another bottle. Lovely with hot seasoned noodle broth. Upped to five stars.

Really good the sake is smooth and a grate value of money. It has a more orange/ tangerine after taste to it but it keeps to the lemon taste as well. It’s become a favourite I’d highly recommend.

Product is nice, citrus taste from the Yuzu is strong but not off putting. Bottle is abit small for the price, very easy to drink quickly. Overall Good sake, worth a try but a bigger bottle would be nice

Nice sake. It's very tart, and even thought it says is supposed to be very sweet, I feel like the acidity is more prominent so you don't really feel the sweetness that much. I think I will be looking for a different option, but would buy it again to be honest. It's just that compared to another yuzu sake that I like and drink often, this one is not as good, since I like more sweetness. But still a good product overall.

Completely addictive and great with sushi and sashimi, sharp citrus flavour with fruity undertone, serve chilled. Wish it came in a bigger bottle for the price, you get through it surprisingly fast.

I've always been interested to try Sake, so I bought an assortment of bottles which had good reviews. I shared them amongst myself and friends, and this one is definitely the favourite of the bunch. The bottle was empty within moments. The flavour is very citrusy, it reminds me if you were to bite into an orange with the peel still on. It has that kind of tartness, but it is very refreshing. As someone who has a very prominent sweet tooth and a lightweight with alcohol, this was very pleasant to drink and will definitely buy more in the future. Best served chill, but will try warm next time.

Goûté lors d'un repas au restaurant, cette "liqueur" est légère et très fraiche. Seul bémol : le prix par rapport à la quantité, 25€ pour 50cl, c'est tout de même élevé.

Ich mag generell Zitrusfrüchte, insofern war das Getränk für mich ein purer Genuss. Da ich bisher sehr wenig Yuzu-Produkte testen konnte, aber viele davon sehr gut fand, probierte ich diese Flasche nun aus. Ich denke etwas verdünnt könnte es vlt. für die Meisten angenehmer munden? Für Leute, die es nicht sauer mögen oder da empfindlich sind (Sodbrennen, usw.) Ist das aber nichts. Es hat einen sehr leckeren spezifischen Geschmack. Der Alkohol ist nicht extrem merkbar, aber dafür hat es eine spannende Kombi von Geschmäckern, die sich schwer beschreiben lassen. Ich weiß nicht, wie lange sich die Flasche im geöffneten Zustand hält (bei mir war sie zu schnell weg :) ). Mit 0,5 l hält sie nicht lange und ist damit auch relativ teuer aber gut. Mich hat es sehr überzeugt und ich werde mir nicht nur noch eine Flasche holen sondern vlt noch weitere Produkte testen. Welch besseres Lob kann ich da schon geben. Ich denke sie ist auch gut geignet für besondere Anlässe vlt. sogar als Geschenk, sofern man weiß, dass die andere Person saures mag.

Ein tolles Getränk zum verschenken an jeden Zitronengeschmak Liebhaber. Es schmeckt super natürlich wie reiner Zitronensaft. Also wer eine Zitronen nicht pur essen konnte, Finger weg. Ich fand es echt lecker weil ich so einen natürlichen Zitronengeschmak noch nie hatte. Aber ich erwähne es nochmal es schmeckt wie ein Biss in eine Zitrone. Man muss es mögen.
