This magnet adapter is alright. I was looking for a stronger alternative for my LED magnetic charger and came across this Deff. It is convenient in my car for when my fellow Android user needs to charge their phone. Of course I'm the only one with the Z3, so my friend can just simply remove the adapter, place it somewhere metal, and plug the micro USB cable into his Samsung.The charger works fine; however, I hate whenever I'm driving and attempting to attach the adapter to the magnetic strip on my phone, it takes quite a while for me to align the magnets. I know this is a bad and dangerous habit to do while driving but I just wish it was easier for the adapter to 'snap' onto my phone. Also if I lay my phone down once the charger is attached, it tends to remove itself sometimes, but only for a second then it reconnects, so I have to lay my phone on a flat surface. I got a phone cradle to kinda fix this problem.Overall, this is a good magnetic charger but is sometimes difficult to align the magnets if you're in a hurry.

I had high hopes for this little adapter, but if you don't have a case with a deep port/cutout over the magnetic connector, this little guy will leave you brokenhearted. There is no way for it to hold to the phone/tablet except the magnet, and the pins are very easily dislodged from the pins of the phone or tablet. I'm talking if you sneeze too hard within 5 feet of the damn thing. There is no contour on the adapter to help it stay in place against the device like the Magnector adapters, making the connection tenuous at best. With a thicker case, this becomes less of an issue, but it is still not the best connection. I stuck these in the drawer for a last resort and bought two of the newer Magnector adapters, which I am very happy with. One place these WILL come in handy, as I alluded to, is with a case on the device, specifically if the cutout is too small for other adapters, then this will likely fit, but you will still have to be careful not to break the connection by breathing too hard.

Arrived in good condition and works well. I was a bit concerned about how strong the magnet would be after reading some other reviews, however it is stronger than expected. Some reviews said it just falls off at the slightest knock, but that is not the case for me.Seller was great, no issues and very good communication.I did also get a Nillkin case for the Z3 Compact (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-NILLKIN-SONY-XPERIA-Z3-COMPACT-MATTE-BLACK-FROSTED-HARD-BACK-COVER-CASE-/281482235249) and this adapter does not quite fit through the hole in the case. Just a heads up for others considering purchasing the same case with this adapter.UPDATE: I was able to use a small file on the case to shave off a millimetre or so on each end of the opening and now the adapter works great.

After viewing the comparison video [...] between Deff and Magnector X, I chose Deff because it seems if you have a case on your Xperiza Z2, you'll have to use Deff due to its curved adaptor design that gives space for the case's extra height. However, I can just prove once again as the video already shows that Deff's magnetic power is really less powerful than Magnector X's. So if your micro USB cable is crooked or bent, once you plug the cable into the adapter and connect it to your Z2, sometimes the adapter doesn't have enough power to stick to Z2!! So I wish we can have a product that combines Deff's curved design and Magnector's strong magnetic power.Regarding the seller Hamee, I'd like to give it 7 stars!! They use EMS post service, sending products directly from Japan. And it only takes 2 days for me to receive the package in Auckland, New Zealand. I bought 4 Deff adapters for my friends and me. We are all happy to get them so fast.

I was excited to receive my adaptor in the mail today after reading the high ratings, but I am sort of disappointed. Out of all the various brands I looked at, this one seemed to have the best ratings so I went with it. Unfortunately the magnet strength seems just as weak as people mentioned in reviews of lower rated brands. I DO HAVE THE XPERIA z2 TABLET NOT PHONE so this could certainly be an explanation. I have yet to experience the charging speed of the adaptor (which if fast would up my rating by at least one star, maybe 2) but the magnet does not hold very well. This adaptor will certainly make night time charging easier, however using my Xperia while it's charging is not going to be an option :(

Fits my Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case for my Xperia Z3 Compact, however the magnet is weaker than my "[ Magnector X ] High Performance Sony Xperia Z1 / Z2 / Z1S / Z3 Magnetic Charging Adapter for Micro USB Cable - Enhanced Magnetic Connection and Charging Speed [ Black ]" magnetic tip. It does a decent job holding on, so it won't fall off, but it's very easy to bump and misalign the terminals. You must be very precise how you connect it to the phone.

I don't write a lot of product reviews, but if it might be really important for other buyers then I feel that I have the do this, as for my decisions to buy a product or not the Customer Reviews are quite important.So today I will write about the "High Performance Magnetic Style USB Convertor" which I purchased three weeks ago for my Sony Xperia Z3 compact. To be honest I still cannot compare with similar products, but this little guy doesn't deserve four stars at all.I would give zero stars !Don't know where is the high performance magnetic. On my Sony the connection is very poor. Really difficult to get the adapter connected and if it does the smallest vibration will disconnect the power supply. Only next morning you will notice because the phone wasn't charged.Very disappointed, would not buy it again !

Bought a few but magnet is on the weak side to hold the dock in place. Fits all cases I own which is like 6.
